Good morning Karen and everyone....

Karen...I sure hope you got a little more sleep. I couldn't function on 3 hours....not consistently.

I ended up being very busy with friends yesterday. Dwayne showed up....we broke up quite some time ago. It was okay....he still says he loves me more then ever...he wants US back again....I don't think I can. My sister was there and she wants me with him to as does most everyone else....what about ME!!!

Nic (grandson) is going to Prom....I could cry...I am so happy....thank you God for giving him this special time!!
There were many times we didn't think he would make it to this point in his life.We are so grateful...thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts for Nic....they have come through!!  He is growing up and I am so proud of him!!

I best get back to my job. Everyone enjoy their day.

Prayers to those in need....a few special ones too.

Love and hugs to all.....connie d

It's a fun day all day when one starts the What's New thread! Lots of replies in my in box.  Jury duty involved two hours of being shuffled from room to room and then dismissed. One of the attorneys had a raging bloody nose. . . . Kind of hard to believe that justice was stopped because of a bloody nose, but that's what we were told. Don't have to check back in til Friday evening for next week which will be my last week.

Came home and worked in the yard. Went to Home Depot (wish I owned stock in that store!) to buy potting soil and fertilizer came home with that plus two more perennials. Just can't pass up those pretty plants.

Erin called about her followup Ultrasound and visit with her ob. All looks great. Baby Briley was very active and  the doctor said if she didn't know it existed last week she wouldn't have been able to find the remains of the hematoma. That's very good. She wants Erin to continue to take it as easy as possible and to rest a couple of times a day consciously checking for baby movement.

The baby isn't due until about the 4th of July so we hope she continues to grow for quite some time.

I got so little sleep last night that hopefully tonight will bring it on. I did drink 3 cups of decaf. . . I'm very sensitive to it; even decaf ice  tea gets me. I've tried prescription sleep aides. I get groggy the next day and have bad dreams when I take them. Tylenol Pm helps a bit but I hate taking something every night. May give melatonin a try again.

My shoulder is much better since I had the cortisone shot. I was hoping that with that better I might sleep more. My mind is just way too active; can't seem to turn it off at night.

I'm going to try to stay awake and keep going til later tonight. I'm sure I'll be called to work tomorrow. Hope you all had a good day.
