What's New TUESDAY

Hi, All.  Thought I'd check in this a.m. before my cup of coffee.

Got my coffee here beside me.  It's only 4:35 a.m.  I set my alarm so I can start my meds -- otherwise it's hard to get them all in.

This thing with my mother (having to move her from assisted living to skilled nursing care) has me off kilter.  I wish I could cry but I can't.  I haven't been able to cry for years.  The feelings feel bottled up inside me.  I'm glad we're doing Weigh****chers -- otherwise I'd probably be stuffing myself with food to soothe the inner being. 

Speaking of Weigh****chers -- I'm finding it challenging to get in all the protein that we're supposed to have per day.  Well, not all of my problem is the program.  Some of it is that, for some reason, dense proteins taste somewhat repulsive to me these days.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Let's just say that I'm eating a lot of yogurt (Fred Meyer/Kroger Carb Master yogurt, yum), cheese, and eggs. 

Thank you to all *****sponded to my post about how to tell mom that she has to move.  I got some really good ideas from you guys/gals.  It helped to see it in writing.

Good morning Cindy and everyone.....

Just dropping by to check in with everyone.

I have some meetings to prepare for later this AM. Clients to get back in line and so on.....

Kyleigh (granddaughter) found out yesterday that she will be walking in with her graduating class. Because of all the school she missed because of her depression and so on she was a couple credits short and they weren't going to let her do that. Now they have decided because she has maintained her 4.0 grade average and has very little to catch up on in summer school they are going to let her do it anyway. I am in tears. She has worked so hard in these last 10 months....this is just the reward she needs!!  I am so proud of her!!

God has blessed me greatly....Nic going to Prom...Kyleigh with her graduating class...thank you God!!

I best get back to work. Thank you for letting me ramble on.

Glad Kyleigh can walk in graduation ... for all she has been through, that she has maintained a 4.0 GPA is really great. And Nic going to prom is wonderful.

Connie, Can it get much better?  Congrats to both kids. Kyleigh has indeed accomplished much. And Nic what a lucky girl his date will be!

If love can save 'em - these kids will be fine!  Connie, you exude love and caring and your influence on them is more than you think.  They know they are loved and that's worth everything!
