OT: Ruth. . . . exercise?
So, what is your jury duty schedule? Just curious how it works there. I know you said you have it for 2 weeks. Here, we get it for one day. But we get hit with several different juristictions (sp?).
We get city. That one you call in in the morning to see if they need you.
We get county. You show up with a bunch of other people. They call in groups of 30 or so. If you don't get picked by 11 AM, they normally send you home with $12 in your pocket (but you have to pay $6 to park).
We get state. My wife got this once and served on a jury. Two day trial for shoplifting.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
George, This is district court which I believe can include anything in our county. We are assigned two weeks. Call in on Friday before first week. You're told when to report the next week. In my case it was Monday morning. Showed up at 8am, they selected 3 groups of 13 out of about 100 people. Don't know what they did with the others as we were shuttled out to different "holding pens." After about an hour in that room we were told to go home and to call in again on Friday evening to find out about next week. Not real exciting. We get paid a whopping $19.00 per day. Some people's work still pays them others lose their days pay. Seems like it should be the same for everyone.

Hi Karen,
Sorry I missed this yesterday.
I was so busy with yard work and "stuff" getting ready for my surgery that I hardly got on-line yesterday.
You are doing so well with all your exercise...I'm so impressed...you are inspiring me!
I can say for sure the yard work this past week has been using muscles I have not used in a few months...I was so sore the other night!!
I Don't think I'd be coordinated enough to do a reverse elliptical!
Take care!!

the "reverse" is incredibly difficult for me. I can do the arm movements. I have to hold on hard to the stationary bar and pedal backwards slowly. I can only do about .3 of a mile that way before I switch back, but it definitely uses different muscles. Coordinated is not a term that is ever used to describe me!!
