What do you have planned for today to get you over the hump?
Me I have a million tasks to get done this morning I won't be doing any workouts. Also I really worked yesterday so I need to give my muscles a day a rest.
REST is an important part of our exercise routine.....we should always give our muscles a day of rest after a good workout...that's why trainers will tell you to do weight lifting every other day not every day.

just finishing up lunch (left over cube steak from last nite) and then back to work. Co worker and I got in our 3 mile walk (56minutes...down from 12min/lap to 11.2min/lap) a little late today. Usually walk in the morning when it's still on the cool side; it's in the middle 70's already..boy, worked up a sweat this time ;-)
I don't like to 'exercise' per se..but this walking is actually fun! LOL

Hi Ruth,
Sure was glad to see your post as I just got home and thought "Oh No! I already messed up!" Stopped at the gym on my way home from school for an hour and a half. Had to finish watching an episode of Trading Spouses. . .
In our paper today there was an article about middle aged women and exercising and maintaining weight or weight loss. Yep, you got it, it's necessary. The article said at least one hour EVERY day. .I kind of figured it out and seem to be making it a habit yet again. I just have to relearn these lessons over and over.

Hi Moosie/Ruth!
We got home late Monday for a few days before we head back out again. I had a 9 am appointment this morning to get my lymphodemic legs re-measured for new custom support stockings. Then I headed to the pool.
I worked out - jogging in the water and using weigh****er resistant bars for my arms- for three hours! Then 20 minutes in the hot tub...sheer bliss. That was my exercise for today!
