What's New Tuesday?

It is mid afternoon and a beautiful day here in Florida.
Yesterday I decided to trade in my 6 yr old Pontiac Vibe. It has 119,000 miles on it and I decided that if someting was going to go wrong it would happen soon so I got a Honda Fit. It is a 2010 and it is Metallic Blue.
Passover is here and we went to my cousins for dinner.
Tomorrow I have to work.

Oh Man- I'm sitting here thing- if I didn't buy so much little CRAP I could afford a new car too! My car is 12 years old!
I'm getting excited about my upcoming week off. It will be heaven to sleep in a little.
Tonight is our TOPS Awards night. I'm not going to win anything- I'm struggling to stay at my status quo weight! But we are having our new officers installation, so tonight is my last night of being the co-leader... I'm thrilled. I do these jobs every year or so because I know I am a good leader but I really don't have the time. I am still employed full time and my job is demanding. Most of the TOPS members are retired and can manage the offices better than I can timewise.
My daughter's birthday (#25) is on April Fool's Day. I'm gearing up for a little party for her with just immediate relatives. This is the magic year- she is no longer a dependent for our taxes- of course she is still dependant on us- still in college. I wonder how kids ever become truly independent these days. The money it takes is daunting. My daughter is doing pretty well for a student, but housing is a big ticket item in California.
It's TUESDAY! Only 2 more days until Spring Vacation!
