Humpday howareya thread
It's depressing in CT. We have had days and days of rain. I heard maybe sun this afternoon, but looking out the window now it's all clouds. Our sump pump is working and so far the basement is dry. We weren't so lucky in the last storm around the 10th of March. The streams are all out of their beds and the reservoirs are spreading over roads in some cases. One condo complex had their parking lot sink 30 ft. and the foundation of one of the buildings is in jeopardy.
I really had to motivate myself to go to work today. Working on a boring project.
Only two weeks before I see my Grands. yay. We got them a Wii game called Monkey Ball Banana Blitz and another set of the Wii sports accessories. Can't wait to play with them.
I made some cute coconut cupcakes that looked like baby chicks. The Tiger Cubs loved them.
Girl Scout cookies are here and oh am I in trouble. Got the thin mints. Need to share them at work.
Got "What To Expect When You're Expecting" from a Freecycler and sent it off to my foster daughter who is expecting. I hope that helps her. She doesn't have any experience with a nurturing environment being raised by a heroine addict. I didn't get her until she was eleven and by then it's too late to make much of impact. Especially when Mom was still involved in her life.

been missing on OFF but i guess nobody noticed that lol. anyhow i just wanted to let you all know i am still alive but having alot of pain in my sciatic nerve area. went to see the pain dr that did my blocks and told him about this new pain i am having. he wants to do a shot tomorrow morning to help rid me of this pain. sooo i go at 945 tomorrow morning for that. then i work 1-9 and then friday morning we are leaving for michigan to see my family. won't be back again til late tuesday afternoon so not sure when i will be posting again.
heard on the radio that our INDIANS will be playing the RANGERS for their opener. hey george want to place a friendly bet?? lol
nothing really happening here with me except alot of extra hours that are about killing me at work with this pain in my hip and leg. other night i could hardly get up the 12 steps to the apartment i hurt so bad. haven't slept in bed for over a week now and now the couch is not letting me sleep there either...so hopefully this new shot will take care of it and i can once again sleep in bed and be comfy!!

not sure if its the same thing or not but all i do know is i hurt!!! if i take a pain pill i am so out of it or so dam tired i can't function!!! i also went to have my blood test done so i can get back on track with my vitamins again!!! i have been so lax in taking them everyday i want to get back taking them before i end up in hospital or worse....should know by next week if not sooner how bad off i am. hope i am not to bad off because i know it will take alot of catching up to do on them as it is.
ok have to get going again more things to get done before our trip....take care and i hope your pain stays away!!!

hi eileen...its not my back that hurts me its my right hip and down the leg to the knee....sciatic nerve i guess. i hope this next shot helps it because i am so sick of this pain!!! i can stand pain but this is the last straw....i hurt big time!!! i can be walking and then it hits me and i about fall to my knees it hurts so bad!!! i have tried ice and also heat and nothing helps it at all. my only hope now is this next shot(s) tomorrow.
