Wednesday "Hop to it!"
Man oh Man, 70+ would be wonderful. We have one nice day followed by several windy, cooler days. Poor little tulips are so confused! Maybe you need to put up on of those fake scenery murals in your office. I've seen some really nice ones. Then you could spray "spring smell" in the air and be all set!

Hey Karen....way to go...everyday for a week....my personal best lately is 5 out of 7 days, but not today as I am just finishing packing and trying to wrap up some work....way too much. I am waiting for an propety management office to open a 8:00 to find out some info on condominium documents that I despartely need in order to put a deal togethr.
I had a closing yesterday..that did not close. Very very frustrating for my buyer and for me. All wrapped up in her Ex still wanting to control things [he is a doc and you know some of their egos] So I told her that I would buy her a drink at a nearby Fleming's Steak House. She said I sure need one after all of this.....BUT when I got there I could not find my credit card...it was in a pants pocket ....at home.
She laughed and said "I still have xxxxx's credit card...let's let him buy. So we did. Had Margaritas and Shrimp..it ended up costing "us" $60.00. She thought that was the least he could do after all the aggravation.
We are leaving for Dallas at 10:00 am...hopefully. We are driving. We will stay at our son's home this evening in Des Moines...then on the next day to Dallas by dinner time. Mike loves to drive long distances. He listens to books on tape, while [he says] I am either on the phone or asleep.
I think I read also, but maybe I do drift off a lot. I put my seat all the way down and back and turn on the seat warmer, use my down pillows covered in sily fabric and my lightweight sherpa blanket....it is a good way to travel. I arrive very refreshed, which I NEVER do when we fly.
We also get to see our babies in Des Moines...coming and going.
Hope all of your days are great. Maybe I can write more on vacation. Hope to have lunch witht he Red Head

Marti, It's wonderful to see you this morning. the sun is just up here in Kennewick. Great job on your exercising. My frame of mind is so much better doing this for me. Give those grandbabies and extra hug from me and a triple hug to the Dallas Redhead!
Your mode of travel by car does sound much better than flying! I can't read in the car but enjoy music, the scenery, and chatting. Seems like we communicate better when there is no TV on! It's me or nothing. Have a great trip.

I went out for my 3 mile walk this morning....I am so glad to have the warm weather back again. It is supposed to be in the 70s today so I hope to get out and walk a little more this afternoon.
I have to get back to work. I have so much paperwork I need to complete.

Connie, Wow, 3 miles on your "renewed" hip. It too me quite a while to work up to that after me knee replacements. Wish we had your weather. It's cool and windy here this morning. Spring please get here in full force! I want to feel the warmth of the sun. Too often we go from winter to hot too quickly!

I'm going to drag myself to the pool. Once I get there, I'm fine, but I just don't feel like going some days. Today I feel pretty good. It's sunny and warm and I feel like getting out. I love that pool and the people there. I wouldn't mind walking outside, but it's too hard on my knee. I wish my knee replacement had responded like yours, Karen, but unfortunately, I got my knee instead ... a pain in the ass. Yesterday it was giving me sharp pains on the outside of the knee, like someone was pushing in a hot poker. Ouch! Today it's OK.

Eileen, You're right: Just do it! Once you get there and in that pool you'll be so glad. And the social contact is so good for you especially right now when it would be easy to isolate. My knees aren't perfect. Sometimes after strenuous exercise they are a bit sore and swollen but nothing like right before I had the surgeries. Can't wait to hug the grands and to spend time with my daughter. It's just been 2 weeks but seems much longer. They are 5 hours away. I'm so thankful that it isn't half way across the country or more!

I haven't posted much and have much catching up to do, but thought I would pop in on this exercise tread. I did 40 vigorous minutes on the treadmill - WOO HOO!
