When I was making two of these today, I was thinking how I could make it a savory instead of sweet dish. How about using southwest flavored eggbeaters, turkey (or soy) bacon bits, and cheddar instead of cream cheese?  I've never met a recipe I didn't want to change!  LOL

Are you getting along pretty well?

I"m with you....I like to take the basis of a recipe and then change it up.  I've taken lots of things that start out as a "sweet" and turn it into some spicy/savory.

I like your idea of doing that with this....I could see adding in chopped brocc or spinach, feta cheese or ricotta cheese, some chopped peppers/onions.  Now you've got me really thinking...LOL

Yes I'm getting along pretty well.  Today/tonight is easier than yesterday ....I showered yesterday, cooked a nice lunch, swept the floor and today has been much more relaxing....no cooking (just reheating), no shower, and no cleaning.  I'm really trying not to overdo things so the swelling comes down.  That's the worst part of all this stuff...the swelling!  At least it's only temporary!

Are you sure you should be sweeping floors? Golly, please don't over do!  But, if you're anything like me, we're hard ones to keep down. Just know your limitations!

Yep, It's hard for me to lay down and rest all day.  I am pretty good about not "overdoing"...I won't vacuum yet because that would be too much on my arms :-)
