I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Julia,
I posted to your response to me yesterday, but as I am trying to catch up on all that I missed while I was busy with my life lately, I just wanted to say once more, I know how your heart aches, as do many others, who just this past year, lost their four-legged family members, I am sure that Dillinger and so many others were there to get Darla acquainted with her new surroundings and one day, I pray to be reunited with my Dillinger and whatever other four-legged family members I have seen cross the Rainbow Bridge.
I still want "God" to explain what he was thinking by not giving our four-legged family such short life spans. . . Makes me really sad knowing that very possibly one day in the future I will have to mourn another loss in my family, but I will continue to open my heart to the kind of love that is offered by the canine family. . .
Hugs and prayers for you to find some comfort in knowing you gave Darla the best home possible!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
