I have absolutely NOTHING I should be complaining about.
I'm in great health. I have a good job (for now). I just refinanced my house. My yard was just landscaped. My kids are healthy and happy.
I just don't take care of ME. Somewhere along the line I lost me in the process... and don't know how to find me. You know I don't go to the mailbox... so I miss things.. but I have checks I've not cashed... from 2005.. and didn't even get my hubby's VA burial check cashed.. and had to go get a new one... he died in 1995!! Well, I find out today.. I never took the time obviously to register my house for my homestead exemption.. thousands of dollars in the last 9 years... AND when I re'fied my house last week... I hadn't claimed my over 65 exemption OR my homestead so my house payment is probably close to $100 a mo more than it should be right now... and... I've got an annuity paper around here somewhere.. that I should be getting an extra $50 a mo if I can find it... and can't find my marriage license... I called SS last November to apply for Widow's benefits and was told I could expect a check in March... didn't happen... so called them.. no record. Now they want my marriage license... can't find where it was ever filed... and have no clue where the signed one is...

Among your lady friends you have some that are paper filing fiends.
I f you can't find it , we will come.
If you have misplaced it, we will come.
If you have a large table to set all your papers upon , we will come.
If you have a big filing cabinet, we will come.
Have post it tabs , storage boxes.
Dang, You don't need any of that stuff, And we will come.
Please take your time going through you drawers and boxes, your closets and shelves.
And if you need us, we will come.

Nothing I like better than organizing someone else. (Please do NOT look in any of my file cabinets.....)
Time to set up some large tables, pull everything out of everywhere, make large piles, and start sorting. Make it a point to go to the mailbox every day before you allow yourself any fun (translate: 4Bucks), and ask for help if you just can't do it yourself.
And, as a side effect of all this organizing, when and if you decide you may want to move, it'll be all done and you'll have a lot less to move.

I'm disorganized too, but I woulda spent the check right away (that's the way I am with money). My organization system is throw it in the file cabinet and hope I'll find it later.
But I'm up for drinks (chocolate or otherwise ... I'm more of a beer person). Don't know what Winstar is ... I'm figuring a casino ... not much of a gambler because I always lose. No money to go anywhere ... if my brother didn't have the timeshare, I wouldn't be traveling now.
Calm down, have a drink and try to get things organized.
