just another manic monday-what's new?

Good mornin', ya'll.

A typical OR day today.  Drizzly and overcast.  But I don't care, I'm thrilled to be here.

Our daughter and grandkids and I went to Macaroni Grill for lunch yesterday.  I'm sorry, but I wasn't impressed.  The food was just OK.  But we all had a good visit and that's what counts.  It's hard to get a sit down and actually talk to grandkids these days.

Our son called last night to tell me Happy Mother's Day.  He had just called his wife.  He is deployed, so not sure how he swung it, but I was sure glad to hear his voice.

This morning I took the grandson to school, our daughter took the granddaughter. Of course, breakfast and lunches prepared for both before we left. If the baseball game doesn't get rained out tonight I'll get to see GS play.  Last evening I watched our GD play basketball.  Our daughter should be home tonight in time to take GD to her basketball practice in downtown Portland.  I'll go to see where and how to get there.  I'll be taking her on Wednesday!  Yikes!!

Had Taco Bell for dinner last night.  Not one of our daughter's stores and you could sure tell.  Stuff all mushed together, sour cream only at the bottom of the burritoes, etc.  Some of the stuff not up to weight.  None of her stores are close to home.  This was a corp store.

I have 4 pans of magic cookie bars cooling, I have run and unloaded the diswasher.  Folded dry clothes and have another load washing. I think it's time to put my feet up, pet the cat and do some crochet.
