Good morning Margo and all my OFF friends,
Today I go with my sister to her first gynecological oncology visit to the surgeon who will do her hysterectomy and lymphandectomy. I'm just going to be an ear for her. When it's you with cancer, you're so emotionally wrapped up in it that you don't always hear what is being said by the doctor. Your mind is either digesting what it heard a few minutes ago or you've raced on ahead thinking about bad outcomes. She is going to Yale so that means she will get the latest treatment.
By June 7 the Tiger Cub year will be wrapped up. I'll get a new batch at the end of August. I love those first grade boys.
It's raining today. The temps have been in the 30s so everyone is having to cover their plants. Unusually cool for this month. Weird ~ since we were in the 80s a few weeks ago and I was thinking about getting the air conditioners in the windows.
My new car still hasn't come in. It has been five weeks this week. I hope it comes in soon.
Margo, I'm glad the new job is working out for you. Wanda, good luck with the gall bladder surgery. I think you'll feel much better after. Susan, nothing's worse than broken glasses. This summer I'm going to splurge on prescription sunglasses. I'm so tired of squinting all summer and not being able to read unless I switch to my other glasses.

It's payday today from the UIA (unemployment) ... not much, but about as much as I was getting when I was getting half a paycheck. But ... then maybe that will end soon.
Yes, I got the information on the interview trip. I'm leaving Wedesday morning, coming back Friday afternoon. Nervous, eager, all of the emotions. It's been 10 years since I've been on an interview, and I certainly didn't expect to be doing this again at my age. I can be so cranky at times. I know that is my pain talking. I have problems controlling that ... it manifests itself in anger and rage more than tears, and I don't handle it well. I have never dealt with so much pain in my life before so I don't know how to handle it. The antidepressants are helping with that. I hope I can present myself as the confident, intelligent woman I used to be before the pain took over. Even when I was obese, I was that person.
Well, I hope to get to the pool today. It's gloomy and windy yet, but not raining. My body hurts like hell, but the pool usually helps.

Margo.... it was so nice to see you start the thread this morning!!! You know I just love ya!!! Hope to see you in your new glasses soon....exciting!!
Judy....bummer about the job. It started out so good and is going downhill fast! People just don't care about their jobs anymore....work ethics are just not there.
My surgery is on the 24th....I am getting that pin/rod removed from my hip/leg. I hate to be laid up again but I have to have it done. The pain is getting so much worse. I can't hardly walk to the mail box anymore. I will be on crutches/walker for 6 weeks....UGH!!!
Need to get back to work. Have a wonderful day everyone!! Share an extra smile with someone today!!
