Yesterday was the bon voyage/50th birthday celebration for our salon owner. Everyone said they liked the food, most of them had never had anything Greek. I love making things they've never thought of trying because they're too polite to refuse to taste it. Then they're happy they did....usually, anyway.

cottage cheese/applesauce/ LF granola
grilled chicken, few pita chips/hummus, tomato/cucumber salad, couple tbs tabbouleh

yes, a piece of the dreaded birthday cake, w/o icing.

Then, after lunch I was in a car wreck, Gary came to the salon and we went to IHOP for dinner

pancake, 1 slice bacon, 1 sausage link, 1 egg

applesauce/ LF granola

Okay, off for a hot shower to try to get these aches washed away. Hugs to all!

Morning Susan..

Just when i think I have this all figured out...I made one of those 100 cal. popcorns last night to have with my cheese stick.  NUT said I can eat 3 cups of the stuff...so I ate it.  OH crap...ate the whole package..small one..but later looked and it said it makes 5 cups.  Oh well..I cut out one of my "feedings" to make up for it.
  Today...same old stuff

  protein shake
  graham cracker with peanut butter
  quiche with green beans
  graham cracker with peanut butter
  crackers and cheese
  quiche with green beans
  graham cracker with peanut butter
  graham cracker with peanut butter

Its not too hard to stick to this as long as I don't try to vary the menu too much.  I may need to visit the NUT again just to get some other ideas.  I have some chicken livers she wants me to try..  I'm not too sure that will work.  Need to find a way to cook them so that I really CAN"T taste them.

  Have a great day all...

Susan, I hope you're OK after the car accident.  You'll feel it today, I'll bet.  Good thing it's mostly a "sit down" day for you.

Yesterday was an improvement, but I'm seeing the old habits tring to creep back.  I need to keep busier, I know.  I've just been enjoying this time, being able to relax a bit since I stopped working and the month-long craziness of "just retired" has started to settle down...

coffee, of course...
B:  yogurt and a bagel
S:  2 cheese sticks and coffee
L:  tilapia and chard (finally finished it!)
S:  orange jello dessert (It makes way too much, gonna have to find someone to split it with)
D:  Tossed salad with tomatoes, chick peas and BBQ pork
S:  A handful of Sun Chips (and I was doing so well...)
Decaf

Working on liquids and vitamins.

Not perfect, but better than Monday.  I think I may try the salisbury steak recipe today or tomorrow.  Sounds yummy!

Everyone have a succesful day.

You tell us that you were in a car wreck then leave us hanging? Since you are posting, I guess you survived. HUGS.

The chicken recipe looks good. Chicken is so versatile and easy to prepare.

I had an extra serving of yogurt last night. After swim class I seem to need extra water and more food or I get shakey.

Oopsy - now I read what happened. Glad you are okay.
