Welcome, Ida, I enjoy hanging out here whenever I can ... you came to a warm and friendly board!

I'm Cassie and had a switch in April 2009.  My DH had a switch November 2008 and between us we've lost almost 300 lbs!

Look forward to "seeing" you around!

Hi Ida!  I've been AWOL here for a couple of weeks.  I've been really busy.  I had VSG in Feb. and as of this morning have lost 81 pounds.    I love your user name.  Is it a Harley Davidson spin or a cute version of "Charlie's Angels?"  Either way, I love it!

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Hello,
Yes, Harley Davidson and my husband has always called me his Angel.  We love to ride cross county, the longer we're out on the Harley the better!

I see your screen name mentions mopar - are you into plymouth/dodge muscle cars?  I've always been a bit of a motor head

I have 6 pounds to go to meet my surgeon's goal for my weight loss.  I think I've lost almost 70 pounds.  My reason for surgery was all medial related although I did not meet the 100 pound overweight requirement  - co-morbities made me eligible for surgery once I was able to find a surgeon who was willing to operate on me due to some pre-existing conditions I had.

Nice to meet you and I plan to be as active as I can with work and hopefully grad school starting the end of September.

Oh we are the ultimate Mopar family.  We have a multitude of classics in various stages of restoration.  A 70 Dodge Dart Swinger is restored and is fun to drive.  Our son caught the fever too and has a 69 Road Runner.  Our daughter is married to a Chevy man, so we give him a hard time about it and of course he gives it right back.  He has a Harley and they go to Sturgis every year with his parents and brother.  We watch their kids while they are gone, so it's a plus for me.  If you look on my profile,  you'll see a picture of their Harley trailer and my daughter in her purple chaps.
