OH, I'LL START THE THREAD...WHAT'S NEW?

Nan....it is hard when our grandchildren are gone so far away from us...I do understand. I love my grands so much too!! I have been blessed to have them with me as much as I have this summer.

I am glad all is going well with Morgan's health. That cancer is a hoprrible monster!!

so-first thing this morning i broke my mouse- dunno how! not a great start to a saturday when you are the only teller! thank goodness my boss has 1) a sense of humor 2) computer savvy to try to fix then we finally just swapped out with another teller- will be interesting come monday!

it's a pattern nere of folks who are sposed to do things this weekend and don't care to--is it just the heat? or is it us??

Hi Janet and my OFF family:

I'm on the phone with Cajun Angel Debbie ... decided to give my fellow Louisianian a call finally. Hoped she wouldn't have to be evacuated up north here ... she says the storm is expected to peter out, though. She is doing OK, but has been busy with work and other concerns.

I was so busy with work/spending money from my paycheck yesterday and then so tired, I just didn't feel like doing anything when I got home last night. I did stay up to watch the Sox game that I recorded ... they won! No bullpen to blow the game this time.

We had a job candidate in to work last night; a couple of people took her out to dinner (not me; I'm too new). Which was fine; I still need time to finish my pages. I did fine last night ... I was done with plenty of time, even though I was unable to proof out my pages because the proofer wasn't working. We have two openings, plus another expected. People are leaving us like rats on a sinking ship.

Well, not much else is new. Just work again tonight and tomorrow. So have a good day. 

Not much exciting here either. The temp isn't so bad but the humidity is drenching.

I went to the gym for about an hour and a half. Came home, worked on laundry, emptied the dishwasher, walked my keys to the garage for an oil change, made lunch and REALLY want a nap.

Yesterday I asked Tom to go to a special garage sale. It is miles and miles long. Now I can't back out because I always pester him to take me.

So ... grab my water and go look at other people's junk.

Hi Im alive and kicking!!!!! I was supposed to go to the beach for our hospital picnic but I didnt go. Looks like rain!!!!! We are at the tail end of a tropical storm here. Rained a lot yesterday.
I am flying up to Chicago on Augest 10th for 5 days. Going to drive back down with Carl. He has been up there since April. I guess my daughter is getting sick of him!!!!!
I have to work tonight for 4 hours. I am working fulltime for the next month.....
I have tendonitis in my shoulder and got an injection but it isnt helping to much. Maybe to much computer work!!!!!
I met Mary Margaret a week ago. She is as sweet as can be!!!!! I am glad she got up north without to much problems.
Well Starbucks is calling my name!!!!!
