What are you in school for?

Hi Ida,
I'm not currently going but just finished up a Computer Science degree in 2008.  I've been toying with the idea of going for some more.  It was a real hardship on hubby making his own suppers, doing his own laundry, being alone four nights a week.  I work all day so I did classes at night.  So he might not be too happy if I announce I'm going back to school again.
I've thought about internet classes but I'm not sure I'm disciplined enough for those.  And I like the classroom interaction.
Kudos to you though.

Yes it is amazing.  Prior to my WLS I'd have never gone for my graduate degree even with Gene cheering me on - I'd have let it go saying it would be a degree that went no-where.  Now who knows I'm getting so much confidence back with the weight loss I might even consider the CEO's position LOL

Congrats on being accepted into a masters' program.
I'm a college professor and have to say that my "mature" students *****turn to school after many years are the best students!   They work hard to get fantastic grades and want every piece of knowledge that I can share with them or direct them to.  It's really a pleasure for me to teach returning-to-school adults who are always serious and dedicated and who make my job so enjoyable.
