Sorry to hear about your cousin. Also sorry to hear about your bone loss. Could you do the once-a-year IV prescription (Janet wrote about it on Saturday, I think).

You're in my thoughts always.

Annette,
I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. Tevia and I send our prayers.
Today I am working at 4pm to 11pm. No rest for the wicked!!!!!
I am slowly getting things in order so I can fly to Chicago on the 10th of Augest and drive back with Carl. He is so tired of being up there. He says his fishing pole is calling his name!!!!
Well off to the shower.

Good morning Jacki and all.  Sorry to hear about your cold.  Back on the road today for my 2 yr check-up with Dr. Roller.  Yesterday I saw Dr. Davis about my cpap.  He lowered my settings and gave me a prescription for a nasal mask instead of the full face one.  It will take a little getting used to.  I could talk with the full face mask on but it's hard to with the nasal one.  Maybe we'll get a little of that chance of rain today.  My yard and garden sure do need it.

Good morning Jacki and all OFFers

Jacki - Hope your cold goes away quickly.

Nothing new here.  Going for my CAT scan in about 2 hrs.  Have to drink the second bottle of contrast in an hour.

Did I mention to guys that Weigh****chers called last week to offer me a job?  I'm waiting for the information packet to come in the mail (snail mail).

It POURED for about 20 or 30 mins and now the sun is blazing again....it's sizzling here!!

Hope everyone is well and finding happy moments in each and every day.

Good morning, Jacki, and everyone here on OFF!

We really goofed up our checking account and have to rush some cash over to the bank as soon as it opens this morning.  :P  Duh!!!!

We have a couple of dr appointments this afternoon but then we're free tomorrow and Friday.  The weather's supposed to break again and so we're thinking of heading to the shore one day and to the park the other.  We wanted to take our grandson to the Cape May Zoo but his family is leaving on vacation today.  Oh well.

I'm hoping to finish that counted cross stitch project today.  Putting in the little details aren't so easy as they once were because I have to keep taking my glasses on and off to go between the pattern and the project.  Yeesh!

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Cassie - I have to use extra strength glasses when I do cross stitch....my tired old eyes just can't see those tiny stitches anymore.  I need to get in gear on the baby bibs -- one is 3/4 done and the other isn't even started.

I just finished "Mennonite in a Little Black Dress".....if you haven't read it, please check it out -- I thought it was a "hoot"!!!

Pat,
I think I need my prescription changed.  I wear bifocals but I still have to take the glasses off to look closely at the work.  Sometimes it's such a pain putting them off and on that I just leave them off while I'm cross stitching ... but then I can't see the tv or anyone in the room, lol.  I'll check out "Mennonite in a Little Black Dress" and put it in my TBRs!  Thanks for the suggestion!  Cassie

Hi Everyone,

So sorry to hear the news about your cousin.  Terrible thing to have happen in your family.  Prayers to all of you.  It is heartbreaking when someone so young is hurt as bad as he is.

Nothing much going on here, have so much running around to do today.  My son and his girlfriend have no food.  Soooooo - I have to stop and get him some.  Going to bring it over to him today.  Of course I can't afford a lot, but I think every little bit helps.

So -  I am off for the day,

Take care

Peace

Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

Hi Jacki and all my OFF friends,
Annette, so sorry to hear of your nephews accident.  I pray for him and your family.
Margo, I'm glad you know you will be OK.  It's a sad and exasperating time for you and my thoughts are with you.
Where has Judy been?
Lately I've been giving in to emotional eating.  The self-loathing has begun for letting this happen.  Soooo, I begin again ~ diarying food, making time to exercise, measuring everything, getting enough liquids, taking my vitamins and calcium religiously. I feel like crap right now and it's because of what I've been eating.  How I can continually do this to myself, I can't figure out.
I need to shop around for a head doctor who specializes in eating disorders.  Do I go for a psychiatrist or a psychologist???
Ruth, congratulations on the job offer.  Is it something you are interested in doing?
Not much else going on in my life right now.
Hugs and best wishes to all,
Bev
