Bev, sorry you are having eating issues. When I saw a doctor, I saw a psychologist, but the main difference is a psychiatrist can prescribe, a psychologist can't. So if you ever need antidepressants, you have to go to your PCP to get the script (which I had to).
I found it was very good to have a shrink ... I enjoyed talking to her, and got a lot out of it. The important thing is finding someone you are comfortable talking to. I still do self-destructive things, like emotional eating and emotional spending ... I spend money I shouldn't, instead of paying bills I should. And then I hate myself for it ... just like I hate myself when I eat something I shouldn't. If they could only fix our heads ...

Annette...so sad about your cousin....many prayers on the way! As for the bone loss....I don't understand that...you are good about you meds and protein. Let us know if you hear anything more about that.
Judy and so many are MIA...busy summer I guess....they are missed!!
As for me.....working and then tanning....then errands to run with my granddaughter. Still picking up a few things she will need for her apartment.

Hi Jacki and my OFF family:
It has been raining most of the morning. Strange, because since I got here, it has only rained in the afternoon. I thought about going to the pool today, but oh well, another day of not going there. I should do some more unpacking. Finished up another box of bobbleheads ... four more to go. Still have two boxes of blankets/linens in the bedroom and one other box in the spare bedroom/office that I haven't unpacked.
Monday, I went to this deli near me for lunch. It's called The Pickle Barrel ... one of the women at work told me about it, said they had the 50 Beer Club. So I thought it was like a bar, but it was really a deli. Cute place, though, so I went in. They bring you a little bowl of sliced dill pickles for an appetizer. So I said I wanted to join the 50 Beer Club, and this guy comes over to me and starts talking to me. It was hard enough understanding him with his southern accent, but then he was a little drunk too ... he was telling me what beer to take, then he brought me the beer. Then he came back and started talking to me again ... he was an older guy ... kind of some local color. Rather harmless. The food was good, too, they had 50 different kinds of sandwiches, some salads, soup, gumbo, of course. Rather interesting place.
Yesterday, I did laundry, unpacking, a little shopping ... I've been trying to get this bottled water at this one store that was on sale before the July 4th holiday for $1.99 for 24 bottles. I had a raincheck, but it was never in when I was there ... well, finally, it was there. So I have to bring in two more cases of the stuff from my car.
Well, back to work tonight. It's 81 degrees today ... cool ... but still humid. Think it may rain a lot today. Have a good day.
