Hey Its Friday and the weekend is upon us.....

Marcy, I've had headaches the past couple of days ... woke up with one today, too, a whopper of one. I've had a heating pad on my neck/shoulders and now an ice pack, and took an Imitrex. Now I wonder if it's sinuses ... I've been off two allergy meds since I ran out and couldn't pay my cobra for July. They're rather expensive meds, nothing I can get over the counter. I still have one allergy med, Clarinex D, and one asthma med, Flovent, plus my rescue inhaler, but had a mini-attack last night (could have been esophageal spasms too).

Hope your headache disappears ... I'm trying everything to get rid of mine ... I had a bad night last night, didn't sleep well, feel like **** today. Hope you feel better, too.

Got my head above water level long enough to take a breath and said hello. Arrived here at our daughter's on Sunday and haven't slowed down since. This is one busy household. We thought it was busy with twin 2 year olds. . . Well, Miss Briley Elizabeth adds her own demands! She's a sweet baby but she thinks she is the center of the universe right now! And I guess she is except Hannah and Clara are reluctant to give up their thrones!

Yesterday was Erin's Seattle road trip work day. She left at 4:30 am and got home at almost 9pm. Josh finished his high school team's football camp on Wednesday so he was here at home. However, he slept most of the day which I understand. He was absolutely wiped out. Three days of intense football workouts with his team, plus younger students joining them in the evenings. They all slept and ate there for 3 days.

So today. . . I plan to "escape" for a few hours. Tomorrow my niece and her husband(architects) will be down from Seattle for a few hours to give Erin and Josh advice on the remodeling of their "new" old farm house that they just purchased. Lots of potential as it sits on 17 acress, but my oh my. Reminds me of the movie "Money Pit."

Sunday I'll load up some essentials and head to the beach for 2 nights. I'll be staying in an attended campground in a tent so hopefully the nice weather will hold. Washington coast weather can turn on a dime so who knows. It has been beautiful for several weeks. Hope it holds a few more days as I really need to spend some time walking on the beach. It has been far too long. It will be close enough that Erin plans to bring the girls over for a few hours on Sunday afternoon.

All is still quiet here but not for long. Better get my pills and drink a protein shake before my "girls" get up. I tried so hard to be something cute sounding like "Mimi. " But no. . I am "Me-Maw!" Ah well, at least it's said with affection!

Good morning all.  It feels weird waking up at 8AM.  That's when I normally go to sleep.  I am scheduled to be off until Monday night, but I think I will go in for half a night Sunday, just to start getting back on track.

I planned on sleeping in this morning as I didn't need to get up for work. My daughter had different ideas and woke me up with a very early morning phone call. Oh well....I will have a longer day to do whatever I chose to do!!

I am flying by the seat of my pants this weekend....no definite plans....I will do what ever I want when ever I want. Finally some time for me...wooohooo!!!!

Kyleigh (granddaughter) called last night. She is so excited about her new place....I am so happy for her!!

Hi Carla and "the team",
My husband and I are leaving for Shaver Lake this afternoon. It will be about 4 couples spending the weekend together at a lakeside restaurant that my sister-in-law's boss bought (she's an administrative assistant/paralegal and indispensible to her lawyer boss- for 25 years now I think) and converted to a nice vacation cabin. It should be lots of fun!

So happy to hear u will be reunited with your hubbie soon... Know u cant wait.... Vermont is great...a real big change from florida....much cooler than florida.... though i am still enjoying water aerobics and kayaking... hope to get back into groove about walking....
