It's Tuesday. Off to a good start?

MaryMargaret...I am keeping you and your family in my prayers....special prayers for your son!! Hope he finds a job soon. They are hard to come by right now. Wishing you daughter well on her new adventure!!
I am so glad MONDAY is over....that was a long day!! I planned on only working 6 hours yesterday and I ended up with almost 9....I was so exhausted I went to bed at 9:00.
Our county fair starts today.....there is an awesome band playing tonight....I have a date so I will be there!! We actually have a really nice fair....it is kept really clean and I like that too.
Hope you all have a really nice day. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. I thank God for all of you everyday!!!

I'm chuckling at Linda's comment about Zumba... so sorry about the effect of the job market on your son Margaret. It seems so unfair- the whole mess. My daughter is winding her way through college (so slowly I might add), but this is the first time that even I have been thinking- why bother. There are no jobs...luckily she has been at Starbucks for 3 years and is doing quite well there.
I'm on my way to school again today. I'm still putting together my new classroom. Yesterday I bought a new printer and a table. I don't really have the money but I needed both items and the school district will not be buying them.... I do know that. The pinch is being felt big time in schools. We have a therapist out on maternity leave for an extra 6 months and we have to cover her job- no help. I have a bad feeling about that.
I'd better get to going now! Hang in there!

Mary, boy, do I know all about looking for a job ... it's rough! And your son is younger than I am, so you think it might be easier on him than me. I was shocked that it only took me five months to find something in my field. What kind of job is he looking for? Has he put his resume on Monster and CareerBuilder? Is he willing to relocate? These are important issues ... Monster and CareerBuilder are really good sites.
Good for your daughter for starting her own business ... I'd use her if she were closer. My cleaning lady in Michigan had a very successful cleaing business ... very lucrative. So if she's diligent and hard-working, she will do well.
I woke up with a bad headache and backache ... stayed in bed til 9:30 when Scooter insisted I get up, and even then I didn't want to get out of bed. I'm really feeling lousy. Don't think I'll do much other than maybe some unpacking. I was going to make a chocolate zucchini cake to bring into work, but forgot to buy the butter. I have to go out later to Walgreens to pick up my Imitrex prescription, so I'll get some there and then make my cake. Hopefully by then I'll feel better. In the meantime, there's a White Sox game on TV this afternoon I'll watch while I'm unpacking. I wanted to get out and get my hair cut but don't want anyone touching my head right now.
Anyway, still hot here ... 96 right now and supposed get up to 105 or so again, high humidity too. Staying inside as much as possible. I wanted to get into the pool early in the morning but my headache kept me in bed ... I've tried ice and heat and I'll stick my head under the shower, too. I have had a lot of headaches since I've been here ... would like to get to the chiropractor, but don't have one here and no insurance, so I guess not!
