Hey ya'll, it's Saturday!
Wow--I am a Venti person and I am revved from that. I can't wait until they bring that size to Wisconsin.
How is Scotter doing in his new home? Our Smokey and Princess (the new furbabies) just had their declaw and neuter and spay done ($545 later and they still need another distemper shot and that was after the rabies and distemper for $120 two weeks ago) but they are still worth it. They are such comic relief. I will have to post pics of them once they get off DH's camera.
The pain has to be rough but you are right--sitting home doesn't usually make it much better. Being out and about helps keep your mind off it.

Sylvia, Scooter is doing pretty well, although I think he's a little lonely when I leave. I would love to get another cat for him to pal around with, but not for awhile. I can't afford it and there's too much of a mess here now (I'm not totally unpacked yet). Scooter meows so much more now than he ever did before ... I think he's scolding me for leaving him alone all night. And then he scolds me for staying in bed so long and not feeding him. Meow, meow, meow! He never used to do this ... he let Nettie do it all.
Eileen I hear you with the cost.
He got used to you being around when you weren't working. Probably with the move and all, he's just getting adjusted to the new digs. When he let Nettie do it all, he was being lazy because he knew she would take care of it and now he has to do it himself. He'll get used to things eventually.
Unpacking is a slow process especially when you have to start work just about right away. You'll get there--I'm glad you are doing well in the job (I knew you would) and have found somewhere where your talents are valued.

Thank you for reinforcing the fact that I don't need any more cats. I've been corralling three strays (approx. 6 wks old, Mom wa**** by a car last week) for the past week. Caught the first two pretty easily. Just caught Houdini this morning. Man, is he fast! I dropped the first two off yesterday, and will deliver Houdini today or tomorrow to the girl who said she could find them homes. What a relieft.
I have three totally inside adult cats, and they've been so stressed, with these little ones wandering around just outside the windows.
I'm not sure if I've seen you on the board before. I'm not on all that much. It's great to see your progress.
