Hi there Crew, hope you're all sailing along fine.  Everything here is going along just dandy for me, scale is holding steady, still not getting in what I really am supposed to during the day, but it all seems to be working out. Guess that's all that matters, huh?

So here's a recipe I found on Eating Well's website. Haven't thought of stuffed tomatoes since Mom made them when I was a kid. This looks really good, and I love shrimp. It's super high in protein too, check it out....30 grams per serving!

http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/shrimp_salad_stuffed_tomatoes.html

Here's yesterday:

cottage cheese, cantaloupe/walnuts
leftover stew
almonds
Chinese:   1/2 egg foo yung patty, 1 Vietnamese eggroll, few bites of Gary's lo mein.

Lots and lots of water to counteract all that salt!

Golly, we have left over Chinese for a week! When will I learn to not order my own entree?

Oh well, guess that means I don't have to cook today.....YIPEEEEEEEE

that recipe looks yummy im going to save it.

im still not losing weight, just hope to stop the gaining.  evenings are very hard for me once again.

im trying something different the last few days.

ive had a WW bagel for breakfast with either lowfat cream cheese, or today a slice of swiss and a thin slice of ham

i need to shake up my food chocies.  the WW bagels have 150 calories, 8 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber.  ive then been cutting out my mid morning snack.

im hoping that maybe a new look at what i consume will help me.  im sad its so hard now after 4 years.  i rarely feel any restriction when i eat, unless its very dense food like steak or chicken.

so im trying to make myself some new rules that work.

hugs to all, Jacki

We had plans for a weekend get away to celebrate our anniversary. Tom's foot is not condusive to travel. So we are going to a romantic restaurant at the end of the lake for brunch. It is hard to feel very romantic with a foot/leg that looks like an eggplant. But this suits me fine.

I can't recall what they have on their menu. After my one bad experience with wine, it will not include champagne.
