Strappy "wife-beater" T-shirt and cotton panties when it's really warm. Gotta have my back and backside covered or I can't sleep, and I still need a sheet no matter how warm it is.
Silky pj's when it's in between.....shorts and shirt-type.
Cuddle Duds from October to March.

A nightgown that looks like a big tee shirt. Shorty PJ's if I am away from home because I get exposed in just a gown. I throw off all covers when I get hot.

I'm blushing. LOL.
I wear a 3XL Tee Shirt of some kind. I kept several from my pre-WLS days. And PJ bottoms of some kind. I have two pair of Rangers shorts PJs and one long pants Rangers PJs.
Before WLS, I rarely wore anything, but since then, I am cold all the time. My wife is just the opposite. She has two fans, plus the ceiling fan going in the bedroom. Fortunately (?) we only sleep together for the night on Friday and Saturday. Me in my PJs with a sheet, blanket and comforter. Her with, at the most her silk short and top Rangers PJs and MAYBE a sheet. (And before WLS, she was always cold)

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
I like nightshirts, but the ones I've seen in the regular stores, they're too tight and skimpy, so amazingly, I still buy them from Lane Bryant (now called Woman Within) because they're loose enough and comfortable enough. I'm not into frilly or girly-girly things. In the winter I used to wear long fleecy nightshirts, but I don't know what I'll wear this winter. Maybe I can get rid of a couple cuddly warm nightshirts (and flannel sheets, flannel shirts) ... or maybe I should just save them for the move in two years to Des Moines.
Yeah, you're behind in the news, Margo. I was here two weeks and Gannett (parent company of Monroe and USA Today) decided it is going to close its Content Production Centers (regional copy desks, which is where I work) and consolidate everything into five giant regional design centers ... Nashville, Asbury Park, N.J., Des Moines, Phoenix and I can't remember the fifth one, something tells me it's in Detroit, but don't quote me on that one. Essentially, they're splitting the editing and design funtions of the copy editor ... I've been here before and it doesn't work; you need to be able to edit and design, you can't split the duties. The idea is to send all copy to the design center page-ready, with headlines made to fit ... well, it doesn't work that way. And some people will be kept at the local level to be copy editors, or metro editors, or reporters, if that's what they want to do. There will be a job for everyone ... yeah, I've heard this one before.
The funny thing is, my former company decided to lay off all the ad designers and outsource ad production to a central location. Well, that experiment is now over and those who were laid off or took part-time jobs are now being rehired at full-time pay and benefits. The regional center made too many errors. My friend Mary Kay, who used to work in the ad department, told me that and we both had to laugh. They thought this was such a great idea and learned it lost them money to outsource. Ha!
But anyway, I might end up in Des Moines ... or Phoenix or Nashville ... wouldn't mind Phoenix ... you know, dry heat and all. The Louisianans here aren't too keen on any of these ideas. Maybe Nashville, but nobody wants to move.

For years, I wore only nightgowns, then I found they would get all twisted up, so I wore nightshirts. I guess I sleep better now, so I sometimes wear nightgowns, but in the last few years, with the nice lightweight materials, I like pjs when it's cold and I've had bouts of sleeping free of all materials, but with central air, it can be nippy at night, so I've taken to whatever I'm comfortable in . . . mostly pjs. . .
