Here's a question someone brought up at the salon the other day. Very thought provoking and insightful into your personality!
If you could commit any crime, without being prosicuted for it (yep, scott free) what would it be? The catch.....you cannot recieve or give any monetary benefit from it.
Well, I'd just have to do to animal abusers what they've done to the animals.

I've always said that if I was a nurse I would probably be in jail. . . . If someone begged me to help them suffer no longer I would help them. Modern medicine can extend life sometimes way beyond what it is meant to be. If someone is in ceaseless extreme pain, does not feel any quality to their lives and is ready to "go" I would help them. To me, it is just the other side of "extending"life medically . . . I know this conflicts with many people's religious views. Not looking to ignite a debate here. JMHO!

Susan can i join all three of you ??? animal abusers, child abusers and not extending life ....i guess the one that would be at the top of the list for me would be doing toChild abusers exactly the things they did to children....would want to be able to do it to all of them ....dont like to even think about that cause it makes me really angry to think about someone hurting a child....

Jan, I'm a totally non violent person but when it comes to abusive situations or one of my own children being in danger I AM capable of murder. Kind of scary. . . Re: child abusers, The only way to make the punishment equal is to find another deviant who is 3 or 4 times the size of the offender. Only then would the field be level. . . . Death would be too easy a punishment for these sick minds. I know they are sick but it's hard to have any sympathy when they are preying on the small and helpless members of society.

Definately child abusers first. Having had a horrible childhood with physical, mental, and sexual abuse I know what it can do to a person and how it can affect your whole life. I thought I had put it all behind me until a family member who I felt allowed all this to happen died. I wanted to go to his funeral so badly just so I could dance on his grave. Then that made me feel guilty for such mean thoughts. I'm working hard to put it back behind me where it belongs.
I'm all for giving abusers what they gave others. . .
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

I agree on the child abuse -- I am such an animal lover, I would have to say I'd like to do the same to those who abuse animals. Just this week, a "stupid" neighbor chained a lovely big dog to a little bush in the front yard without any water....it was 90 degees - the poor dog barked and cried for over an hour until I couldn't take it any longer and went over and literally yelled at them to get the dog back in the house....they were a little take aback, but I was proud of myself!
