Susan, My heart aches for  all the abused beings in our world.  i know that some have tried to right the wrongs done. The news has brought forward the abuse that continues on , would like to be able to stop the insanity.

Your question about a crime a person could commit-.  I would have to stand with Karen.  Let the people go. If a persons body is done, the quality of live is over, have compassion and let the body go. I believe the soul of the person can remain with those that love them. This was a hard question, brought a few tears.

Hugs to all , Peg in Red, So-Cal Style

Peg, when I visited a New Mexico Anasazi site we were told that babies who died were often buried in the wooden floors of the mud brick homes. The people believed that the soul of the deceased would inhabit the new life that was born. That would be comforting wouldn't it?

Karen, When you mentioned New Mexico, a light went off.  We are driving back to see our Son in Kansas this month. Our trip will take us through New Mexico on the (40 Interstate). Will we be in the area of the

Anasazi site? My honey man is an American Indian Historian. For the last few years he has started making Arrowheads, knifes, etc, out of Volcanic Glass, some of his works are close to the pieces we saw at the Smithsonian in D C . My guy is taking all his Flint Knapping tools with him on our Lil' Vacation. It is kind of amazing watching him make a knife that is sharp enough to cut meat. Thanks for the info, Peg

Waputki National Monument somewhere out of Flagstaff. I think north of there. We were headed down from the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It was amazing.  Somewhere in southern Oregon my mom used to pick up obsidian. Wish I could remember where! I have a brochure around somewhere from the monument. I'll see if I can find it.

I don't like child or spousal abusers, but if I did something to them I would feel bad, no matter how much they deserved it.  Going on the ball field, I would break a law, but would not hurt anyone, while providing entertainment for those in the stands.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Although I agree about the child and animal abusers, I would love to ride my horse over a golf course.

Child abusers should be dealt with appropriately.  Having been a nurse in a prison with a sex offenders unit, I know just how I'd do it.

On a more personal note...I have a dear family member who is being raked over the coals by her husband, who does not want the gravy train to leave the building, after 22 years of marriage.  She has been unable to get a divorce, and he is making her life absolute hell.  I'd like to take care of him.  Permanently.
