Done! Your Ticker:
Ruth,
How truly sorry I am to hear of your Dad's passing. . . It is never pleasant to deal with the loss of loved ones and whether it was a good or bad relationship with a parent (or loved one), we are all struck with the finality and sadness surrounding that loss. Grieving is a personal thing and time does heal, but my belief is, that the spirit of those gone lives within our hearts and memories and so only their physical presence is gone, small comfort right now, but in time, perhaps you will see that. . . I've had visitations from some of those I've loved and lost, via a memory that surfaces, a smile or gesture of someone that reminds me of them, or just an overall feeling that they are looking over my shoulder smiling with joy over some accomplishment of mine, or a whisper of wind when I am facing a challenging time and wishing they were here to share it with and that whisper is them letting me know that I can still drawer on their strengths. . .
Wishing you and your family peace at this very sad time. . .
Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Ruth,
I am so sad to hear about the passing of your Dad. It sounds like you had a wonderful relationship with him. One good thing about memories is that nobody can ever take them away from you. Lean on those memories and let them carry you through the days to come. Yes, some days those memories, like the pictures, will make you cry but that's ok. Tears are very healing for our soul. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. You just need to do what you need to do to get through this. You have a lot of friends here that care about you and we are here for you to lean on.
I know you feel awful...I feel awful for you. I wish I could take your pain away. I pray you find peace and comfort. I will be praying for you and your family.
Take care.
Hugs,
Viv
