Good morning all!  Any of you all superstitious?  I am, but only among certain things.  Friday the thirteenth means just another day to me.

Going to the Ballpark tonight.  Celebrating our new ownership.  Rumor has it our new owner might throw out the first pitch.  LOVE IT!!!

The only bad thing about beating up on the Red Sox this weekend is that if we do, it benefits the Yankees.  Gotta take the bad with the good.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

we are keeping really strange sleep hours around here ...i went out to look at the meteorite shower--saw only an absolutely gorgeous clear starfilled nite sky...didn't go back out after 2 as they suggested.....slept in the recliner from 230-5....did something to my back yesterday tho i swear i dunno what!!!

kindof in a funk today-already--

mom will drop me off at the restaurant across from my work so she can get michael to the hospital by 815-they need to re-do his bone scan on his leg- they didn't inject enough dye last time- so they (mom and michael) will sit and wait.....

long day at the bank---
nothing new- just wanting to send hugs and prayers...

Good Morning Margo and all,

Friday, at last.  This has been such a long week, especially considering the tragedy at work.  The funeral for our one co-worker was Tuesday and the other two are still in the hospital.  The lady is now in Fair condition, but she has a broken pelvis as well as about 10 fractured or broken ribs.  Her recovery will be long.  The other guy is still in a coma.  Tonight the family and friends are doing a rally downtown because they feel the police office is getting preferential treatment.  The entire situation is sad.

I finally got my home computer fixed, so I can start to feel normal (if that is possible).  At least I've been able to access my email and facebook on my phone so I wasn't totally disconnected.

I had a wonderful conversation with Nan a couple days ago.  It was so good to talk to her again.  I can't wait until our possible trip to Michigan in December.  Maybe we'll see Nan here in Indy before that.

Have training this morning for a new resume/hiring system we're moving to.  I need to go to the supervisors training even though I'm not a supervisor so I know how to help them with it.  Being an administrator is like being a baby sitter.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Hi Floyd, so glad to see you stop by, it's always good to hear from you.

How sad and tragic for your company to experience such a horrible accident. Hugs and good thoughts to you, my friend.

Floyd,

Good to see you here, so sorry about what happened, my thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the tragedy.

Hope you have a good weekend.

Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

My buns are sore. At the gym I set the leg press to 140 lbs which is the weight I've been pressing. Pushed and pushed until I thought I'd split a gut. Finally noticed a little peg that added an extra 100 lbs. No way I can push double my body weight ... yet.

Since started serious exercizing I've lost 2 1/2 inches from my waist. That's good because my shape was kind of straight up and down.  Not a clue if I've lost weight because I threw away my scale.

All of you seem to be sweltering in the heat. It is a frigid 60 degrees here today. Time to pull out the long johns again. Freezing Cold

Kisses

It has taken almost 6 month of adding the water class then the weight machines at the gym.

Love that tape measure as much as I hated the scale.
