I love fat free milk nice and cold. It doesn't ever seem to bother me. Don't know what the combo is with the ice cream. Or maybe it's a double whammy. Something in any kind of icecream doesn't like me. That's fine. I have too many things that I can "handle" with my pouch but not my head as it is. Stubborn. . .???? Me???? As a mule!

i so know where u are.  i feel the same way and thursday i started the 5 day thing too.

by lunch yesterday i was beserk and kinda ate a light lunch and lighter dinner

today, saturday, ive only had cottage cheese and fluids so far and im going to try and
do the day 3 and just have solid proteins.  try is the key word.  i want to be back in
control, i hate that feeling of food running me.

Thanks Jacki, sometimes it's easier for me when I don't have any choices. Liquids are liquids and it's hard to lie to myself about them. Milkshakes don't tempt me so I don't have to worry about substituting them! Years ago I lost 100 lbs in 4 months on Optifast. All liquids: I felt good, slept good no problems til I had to put "real" food back into the plan. I'll stay busy. . .

wouldnt it be wonderful if we could all get on a ship and cruise to nowhere not docking at all for 5 days and there would be nothing to eat except the 5 day pouch test lol ....hey we might have something here. wonder if there would be enough to do it....would save the ship lots of money they wouldnt have to have a lot of waiters or chefs or bartenders or anything.....just a buffett with the first day blenders so we could make our own protein drinks and have the gymn open. and have lectures from Dr. and such about what we should and shouldnt do lol ....maybe we could all get our heads on straight. I know i get going on something sometimes and wonder why i eat that when it makes me feel so bad...doesnt make me dump but i feel really slugish and tired from it. makes me wonder how stupid can you get. but with the pouch we can always start new all over again ....dont beat yourself up we have all been there.

Karen....don't be so hard on yourself....you aren't the only one having problems with this.

Start again...like you have planned...you can do it!!!

I still haven't lost that 20 pounds....I am eating bigger portions and I need to stop. I am maintaining but I want to lose that extra 20...can't do it this way!!

Thanks, Connie, Knowing that I am not alone does help. But I am the one who has to get back some control. So far so good. Now to just remember what I learn from the experience.
