My first thought was Rosemary's Baby, but I think the most shocking movie was The Boys in the Band when I was 15. I had no clue it was about homosexuality & had very little exposure to homosexuality. It wasn't explicit about anything, but made me think about something that made me very uncomfortable. Add to that the fact that I went with a friend who was about 25 and had a homosexual brother (but I didn't know if she knew...). He's dead of AIDS now, what a terrible waste. I hadn't thought of that movie in a long, long time.
