What's happening Wednesday?
Those photos are a hoot! Looks like you guys had fun.
I think I found my hairdresser ... in a small salon where everyone has their own salon and boy was she cheap! Her name is Debbie and she's a hoot too. She did a nice job ... cut and color and only cost me $70. Used to cost me more in Grand Rapids.
I actually got another box of bobbleheads unpacked yesterday and this wooden curio box hung on the wall, so it wasn't a total waste of the day. Had a headache all day ... kept waiting for it to rain but it never did. Still have two boxes of bobbleheads in the living room and a couple of boxes of blankets/sheets etc. in the bedroom. And my printer. I should set up the printer but I know it's going to be a pain so I've put it off.
Well, back to work today ... I'm doing sports all week because other people are doing football tabs, so I'm reallocated to Monroe sports.
Have a good day.
quick post. I still have some pain but am feeling much better. Taking pretty strong pain pills that work real well. Just took one and since it's already close to my bedtime I won't be awake long.
Finished the 5 day pouch test today and am feeling much more back in control. I'm setting the timer 30 minutes before and after meals to remind me to drink. That is helping me get back to basica. I had gotten in the habit of having a 2oz glass of milk at mealtime. I love milk. It's fat free and cold but shouldn't be taken at meal time. That's a hard one for me. But lo and behold I am rediscovering the fact that I fill up and stay filled longer with no fluid during or too close to meals.
Just wish I didn't have such a short memory. Have dropped 6 lbs this week but with being sick I'm not surprised. Would be nice if they stay gone. If I continue to eat the way I'm supposed to instead of the way I want to they should. Tonight we had sauteed in a tiny bit of broth: true cod, cottage cheese with garden tomatoes, spinach, and fresh cucumbers. Mike said today he has now lost 60 lbs. That's since about mid March and done the old fashioned way with a little help from me as far as meal planning. Mainly not putting it on the table if he can't eat it! Hope he's able to keep it off.
My eyelids are getting heavy. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words of support. They mean a lot to me.
