Girlfriend's box of questions. Here we go!!!!
No fears at all, only excitement. Next month (Oct. 8) I'll spend my birthday on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean with my mother and siblings. 40 years ago I first went to Europe with my sister when at the last moment my parents couldn't get away. I spent my 19th birthday in Austria with my sister; now 40 years later we're having the delayed European trip with my mom who is now 84. I can't wait to enjoy this very special trip with my mother. The second part of this birthday that I'm excited about is that in another 3 years I'm hoping to retire and spend a few golden years with my dear husband. Life is definitely great!!!

I'm with you, not having it would be my fear. . .
Only birthday I ever had that really bothered me (never had one that scared me) was when I turned 20, I thought that now I was no longer allowed to make mistakes, because I was a grownup, lol, imagine that one. . . damn I've made so many mistakes and some I've learned from, others, well I got to repeat those until I did learn. . . anyway, I feel wonderful, so who cares what the calendar says. . .

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
