I now have an iPad, which I LOVE. I can do just about everything from it.
I can get on OH from it, and read all the posts and such, but I can't post!! I can post to Facebook. I can write to other sites, but not to OH. Anybody know why, or how to fix it so I can?

I have the same problem. I'm not sure how to fix it, or what to do. A couple of times I've been able to change the HTML Editor to " text" and have been successful, but haven't been able to do it for a couple of weeks now. You might have luck doing that, it's worth a try anyway.

LOVE, love LOVE my iPad. Glad you do to!

I first bought a Kindle, but then bought the iPad - I find the iPad easier to read.

I don't use the iPad much for anything but reading.    I carry my iPhone with me which I use more when I'm out and around.

Mu husband has a nook and it's great and all, but I can read in the dark in bed with my iPad. He needs a little light attached to the headboard in order to read his nook.

Oh you "techies"~ I can barely handle my regular cell phone and it's just basic. I finally had all of the texting features shut off because I kept accidentally connecting and getting charged for my "errors."  Calling and reading my messages is about it for me!!

techies is right- jeez --i left a book at work in the lunchroom and i feel like reading!

i'm struggling trying to remember how to get my desktop tool bar back on THE BOTTOM of my screen instead of on the left side- i have no clue how it got there!

and ya know- like karen , i love to turn the pages,,,,

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I love the feel of a book and the smell of the paper, too. But....since I've had my iPad I have read 7 books (since the 4th of July). That's a lot of books for me. I can do all sorts of things on it beside read. E-mails, FB, contact lists and making appointments for the salon. I don't even know all it can do yet, but it's fun learning!

Margot, try clicking on the tool bar just moving it to the bottom. It should stay there.

Still love my Nook.  Love the free books they are always offering.  I currently have about 30 books in my library that I paid anywhere from zero to $3 for.  Still reading alot.  Just do not read in bed.  There are several things I do in bed and reading is not one of them.  LOL.  I watch TV in bed.  I play games on the TV (mahjong or solitaire).  My reading is done at work, in waiting rooms, or any time I am sitting in the car waiting for Mary to do something.  Oh, and I do read out at the Ballpark before the games.  Almost always have it with me.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

I'm back!  Yes, changing our HTML Editor to TEXT works!  I used it a lot yesterday, and while the print is very small when your typing, it doesn't show that way when you submit it.
