Hi y'all it's Friday
I actually made deadline (well, more or less ... I got the last page out at 10:35 p.m., waiting for the USA Today baseball page). When I got home, I was tired and sore and itchy ... don't know why I'm so itchy lately. Anyway, when I got home, I noticed my phone appeared to be on ... it didn't say "Check tel line" anymore. So I tried the TV to see if I had cable and I did. So now I have to cancel my service call. The good news is I don't have to get up at 7:30 a.m.
I'm so happy to hear Julia's fantastic news. Couldn't start the weekend (well, for most people) off any better.
Well, today is payday; later this morning at least ... most of it is already gone toward bills from last week. Oh well, easy come, easy go.
Anyway, whatcha up to for the weekend, those of you who have it off? I have a fun-packed Friday and Saturday night of football ... high school tonight, college on Saturday. Oh joy. Chat away, I'll check back later.
i am whooped- was in bed by 7 pm and stayed there til 5 am.....had to actually ask my mom to go home last nite so i could go to bed! ouch!
had a great 3 days at the other branch this week- felt so at home there- ah well... back to my branch today and tomorrow...will make the best and so grateful to have the opportunity!
weekend plans to work tomorrow til noon and then nap then-watch out! need to get my car up and moving and clean this trailer...
probly time to change my avatar again too....
time to get ready for work- today is jeans day and too cool out for capris- my jeans don't fit-boooooooooo hisssssssssss so i'm just plugging away...
hugs and prayers and a huge whooo hoo on julia's news!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo glad things are better there, you sound so much calmer now.
Today I think I will shop, by myself! I won't be rushed. Margo wish you were here, going to some resale shops.
Anyone try to be on the computer with 3 dogs on your lap? It can be done, I am doing it. Thank goodness they are small, my diva(Lucy) is still in bed or she would be here too.
Well you all have a wonderful day!!!!
Nan
Like you I am glad that Julia got good news. . .
I am thrilled and excited that today is Friday, the work week has me exhausted and I have lots packed into the upcoming weekend, mostly tomorrow, whi*****ludes pee wee soccer for both my grandson (5 in less than 2 weeks) and my granddaughter who is 3, at 9 a.m., in between some shopping, then a bbq and tomorrow night I am going to see the Color Purple with a work friend, as the managing partner where I work could not attend tomorrow night's performance due to the Jewish holiday, so I got the tickets and since I knew Tony would not go and the other gal was in the running for the tickets as well, I asked if she wanted to go with me. Somewhere in between I will make an AA meeting, otherwise that is my Saturday. Sunday will be laundry, cleaning, food prep and if time permits rest and relaxation. . . lol
Have a great day everyone.
Wishing peace and strength to all.
Hugs, Laureen

Words can't express how happy I was to see Julia's great news on FB yesterday. I actually did the "fist pump" right then and there, all alone in the house...LOL
Yesterday I had my 4 yr check up with my surgeon. He was surprised my Vitamin K level was below normal, saying "that's something you don't see often". Well DUH!!! The part of our gut that absorbs K is bypassed, so how can he be surprised. He did say that supplementing K will probably absorb enough through the small bowel, so we'll go with that for awhile before resorting to IM or IV treatment. The big surprise came when I went to pay my $35 co-pay and they said it was $88! Seems all of my other check ups have been within a time frame around some other type of surgery, and since I've gone more than a YEAR w/o a surgery, I had to cash pay because my insurance doesn't cover WLS. Should have known better, but oh well.
Alrighty then, time to get it moving and get ready for work. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Susan,
Took me several years to figure out the "magic code" for Uniform Medical Plan. My insurance now covers WLS but didn't in 2005 so my yearly labs were never covered. My doctor kept resubmitting since she thought it was ridiculous how much money I had saved them in care that I no longer need.
You might try having them rebill using the "medical malabsorbtion" code. I don't know the particular number but can probably get it if you can't. That did the trick for my yearly labs. Instead of paying over $200.00 out of pocket I now pay about $20.00.
