Worked on finishing the front bathroom all day yesterday.  My friend is coming over in a bit to work out with me then I plan to fini**** up.  Just a little sanding and paint touch-up left and then caulk the trim around the ceiling.  Hubby is picking up a new exhaust fan for it too since the other one quit working.  I just hope the boys will not make a big mess in there too quickly.  Need to go find some fabric for a new curtain in there and want to get one of those bowed shower curtain rods then I'm done.  Next to tackle a little bit of ceiling trim in the hallway I still have to put up and then all my projects will be done.
Then, on to the kitchen.  Ya'll have a good weekend.

Sounds like you keep busy.  I'm a home improvement junkie myself.  Trust me, just before you get the bathroom project done, you'll find something else.

It's what we do...

Oh, yes.  You already found something else....the kitchen.  It never ends, does it?

Hope you're feeling better.

do you do any plumbing? i need to learn a kitchen task...

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Everyone!  TGIF

Have been very busy this week, so I am trying to catch up reading posts.

Have an appointment at my doc's office today.  Something needed for pain in my back.  Went to see a spine surgeon and it did not go well at all.  Waited three hours.  He saw me for 7 min.  Didn't even revue my MRI stating the computers were down.  Wrote a script for Physical therapy and never allowed me to ask any of the questions I took time to write down.  I walked out sobbing.

I hope today goes better.

Tonight going to go watch a movie with a friend and have healthy snacks.

Tomorrow going to a go away party for a cousin who is moving to Arizona...

Not too much else is new, really..

Hope everyone has a great and blessed day

Peace!

Mary

Thanks Julia, and I know you needed to hear good news too.

I did write him a nasty letter and also sent a copy to my PCP.  I asked her NOT to recommend this doc again to anyone.   I think, he thought, well she doesn't need surgery at the moment so the heck with her.

I just can't believe they get away with this.

Thanks again

Peace

Sounds like my knee doc ... when I was having problems (well, still am!) he sounds so caring, but kept me waiting two hours, then said there was nothing wrong with me. Nothing wrong with me! I'm in pain ... I yelled at him. Then when I left he office, I sat in the car for 10 minutes and cried before I had to go to work. Some doctors can be such ******** Must have skipped the bedside manner classes.

Good Morning,
You have all been such a comfort to me this month- my heart is full. I wonder how so many kind women ended up on this one forum? We are lucky to have this connection.
Today is such a happy day for me. It feels like a dream. At just the point that I thought the fear would never end- it did. I have no doubt that I would have made lemonade if the diagnosis had gone the other way, but- OH, this is so much more fun! I love fun!
So for today I have a few things planned- a pedicure, last minute packing, and BUNCO! My Bunco group has also been quite the support this month and we will all celebrate. I'll get home at about 9:00 and then leave for the airport at 2:30 A.M. We are leaving from San Francisco, stopping at Houston for an hour, then on to the Caymans. I have handicap electric carts reserved at the airports (I can't believe that I'm still hobbled but it is what it is). I can't wait to start this stage of my life. I feel so blessed to have "NO CANCER"! The back injury is small potatoes... just a little nuisance.
To Janet- my heart is with you as you go through this medical event with your sister. Sibling love is so strong...
I'm taking my little notebook computer with me this week so I'll be in touch...
