Here we go---sailing this boat together! Recipes today
Good Friday morning one and all!
I check food.com every day for new recipes. Sometimes I get lucky and find one that isn't fat and sugar laden. Might just have to give this a try. I bet you can make it with blueberries, too

Well. the cocoa roasted almonds went into the trash yesterday. I didn't just toss the container, I opened it up and poured the almonds into the trash. This morning I'm having New Orleans Blend Community Coffee (*with chickory) instead of 2 lattes. We'll see
cottage cheese w/ applesauce and a sprinkle of almonds
leftover 1/2 baked potato and 2 oz steak
chicken stirfry w/ basmati rice
watermelon
Not bad.

Susan
Good morning everyone. I am back to basics. I find if I do not keep a journal with me I do not focus on what I am eating. I also forget that bite here and that bite there. Also if I write as I eat I don't eat as badly. So yesterday I had
B - Nectar fuzzy navel protein drink
L - slad - mixed greens, shredded chicken, walnuts, and julliened apples w/ 1 TB of pesto mayonaise
S - 1 light string chees stick
D - Barilla Plus penne 3/4 cup with 1 TB pesto
I am tracking my food on fitday.com. It is a free site that allows you to choose from a large food list and also customize foods. If I eat at home I customize recording the info from the food label.
If I eat out or eat unlabeld foods such as fruit and fresh produce I use their charts. It tells me the calories, breaks in down into protein/fat/carbs in a pie chart and gives the vitamin and mineral counts. You can also record exercise, write a journal, participate in forums, etc. It will also generate reports of your calories, weight, etc. over time. If you have not ever visited this site you may want to give it a try.

Good Monring, All
Susan, I'm going to try this recipe, using some frozen blueberries I have in the freezer. Everything else I already have.
Yesterday:
cottage cheese with sf jello
apple
meatloaf with 1/4 sweet potato
veggie soup
12 M&M's (yes! I counted the little bas*****!)
chili
veggie salad (tomatoes and green beans)
At 8 pm I really wanted potato chips. Ate vegetable soup instead.
At 10 pm I ate the damned chips. Quite a few of them.
At 3 this morning I woke up with my stomach growling (from eating so late in the evening...I know this from past experience) and had a small bowl of whole grain cereal.
I'm still paddling.
I have another big pot of veggie soup simmering on the stove as we speak. It helps, sometimes.
