Washington is full of spots that just take your breath away.
If we could handle the cold and damp weather , we would have our home on Whidby Island , close as we could be to Deception Pass, love that place.

I got my flu shot yesterday and had a nasty reaction. Wheezing, coughing , nausea, headache, not to mention my arm swelled and ached. It was a long night. This morning I am tired but can breathe.
The cats are restless and making a racket. Up and down the stairs, they sound like a herd of elephants. Cats light on their feet? Not mine.
It is long past breakfast time so I'd better eat. Sleep sounds better.

Thanks for starting us out today. I also have been to the Texas State fair and walked till I dropped!!!!!
I am safely in Chicago. I got here on Tuesday night. I am spending the week with my daughter and my husband. I left Monday morning at 0414 am and drove to Asheville North Carolina stayed over night then drove the rest of the way to Chicago. I got there beat up!!!!!!
I go back on Monday.
Eileen Juelitte will come around. My tevia is like that sometime.
I am going to go and see Brenda on Saturday for lunch.

I am so hooked on Hells Kitchen and have been since it first started. I really enjoyed last nights show! Chef Ramsey is a hoot!! I liked his Master Chef too.
I have a meeting for work at 1:00 then I am off until Monday. It has been a very long week. I look forward to a long weekend!!

Hi George and all my OFF friends,
Today is my pschologist appt. at 1:00. I use my lunch hour and eat at my desk while I work. Tonite I have cub scout registration one of the elementary schools. I have seven Tiger cubs now. Would have had eight but the parents of one boy said it conflicts too much with their schedule. Maybe I'll get more tonite.
I'm tired. I set it up to get a B-12 shot tomorrow. Maybe that will give me some pep.
It was dark when I got up this morning - and raining. Really weighs down on the spirit.
Had dinner and a nice long chat with a friend last night.
Never been to Texas. Would love to go. Maybe someday

Winding up here at work....it's been a busy busy morning.
Didn't sleep well last nite -- very restless - not sure what that was about...anyway it left me feeling very tired today, so I think a nap is in order this afternoon.
Finished a book yesterday called Hannah's List....good story. Picked up a Maeve Binchy book here at work (we have a nice exchange table) I should be working on finishing the baby bibs, but have to be in the mood. Weekend will be busy so probably won't work on them then either. My brother and SIL are celebrating their 50th with a nice party, so we other 3 siblings are going down there on Sunday.
Time to get off and close down the computer till tomorrow. Have a lovely afternoon. I got my flu shot Sunday -- it was a combo shot for the regular flu, H1N1 and another type....arm was a little sore but no other problems.

ahhh yes...many of us remember big tex!!! the fair will never be the same after we all left it!!! that was a wonderful time!!!!
today; i mailed the summons and divorce complaint to michael ...we'll see how long it takes him to sign for it or -NOT! if he doesn't i can file for default....
also mailed a photo to jan in california--so i may get a new avatar soon... hope hope!
went to the Amish store for allspice....got gas... (it was 256 yesterday and i didn't get it-ouch! 263 today)
painted most of the wall in the living room that needs it before i can tile the floor- but it needs another coat and the lighting isn't great so probly saturday before i get it done.durn it! means that big book case is still in the middle of the room!!!!!
well- work tomorrow -need to find a clean bank shirt....seems like my maid is really slipping- i had to break down and wash dishes myself again today! and the vacuuming......well....
still-i'm lovin this new life!!!!!!!!!!
oh- heard from an old friend today- so good to catch up--there are others out there- wish they would at least pm.....
