Opinions please - re bowel movements

I hope this doesn't embarass anyone but thought i would throw it out there to see what comes back.

My bowels are a little loose, in fact getting quite loose, so son is taking me down to the shops to get some benefibre. My surgeon approved me taking my anxiety meds and pariat which I think you guys use nexium.

I just went to the loo and had a bm and I heard a plop.  Checked it out and there was a ball in the toilet about the size of a large chickpea.  I thought this is strange and checked it out because I haven't eaten anything solid so I haven't a clue what it was.  When I opened it up it was a white substance. I threw it back down the loo.

My question is, could this be the remnants of my tablets?  Could they have not dissolved but instead expanded?

Thoughts please.  I am curious, not worried.

Jules, I actually had what looked like tiny bits of blue sponge in my first stools. Must have been something used during the proceedure. Do call and ask about it.

I think i might send the doc an email and just ask or perhaps a pharmacist.  He would know whether or not the tablets would break down.

Probably was part of a pill since you are having loose stool everything is going through too fast for it to be completely dissolved.  The benefiber should help.

Jules...if it continues I would call your doctor. I don't think it is anything to worry about but that is just my opinion. I am not a doctor....accept on TV...LOL!!
