Grazing

Could someone tell me what Grazing is? I think I might be doing that.   How do I correct it?

I've had RNY Lap in Dec 2009 and I've lost a total of 120 pounds already. I'm finding myself picking on protein foods in between meals.  I know that can't be what I'm suppose to be doing. I want to get myself back on the right track. Help!!!!

Grazing is eating off and on throughout the day...yup sounds like grazing!!

At least you are grazing on protein...that is good. Once you start on carbs...it gets much worse.

Maintaining is so much harder...harder then I ever imagined. Just keep fighting those cravings. Unfortunately they fixed our tummies and not our heads!

Good Luck!!  Keep busy....find something else to do with your hands. I know easier said then done!!

Thank you for responding to my post. I'm really trying hard to not grab anything but proteins. I would like not to grab anything at all. I guess I just need to pray harder for inner strength.

Hi just found this forum, and hope i is ok to join in as I meet the criteria 50+I had surgery in Dec 09 also, and hit a point around 6 mos where I started to graze on carbs, when I hit a stall for a couple of mos that did it for me, I just made up my mnd that nothing was going to get in the way of being a success!

I think it depends on what you call grazing.  I eat 6 times a day.  If I didn't, I wouldn't get in all my protein.  Like the others said, stay away from the carbs though.  They will get you every time.
