Good morning!

Ahhhhh, nothing like the return to routine to make me feel like I'm back to "normal", whatever that might be....lol

No chance to snack yesterday as I was busy at work, then the notary came for us to sign the re-fi documents, so by the time she left I was about ready for bed. Wonder if I could hire her to come every night?????

Yesterday:

bkfst sandwich---good find!  220 cals, 12 grms protein, 7 gr fat, filling and yummy

applesauce / cottage cheese

leftover pork chop, couscous and baby green beans

chinese chicken salad

applesauce/LF granola

Okay.....what about YOU???

Susan

You don't really want to know.  I'm going to try to start at least reading your 'eating' post again.  Probably won't post cuz I'm so out of control.  I'm going to try to remember what I ate yesterday.  I need to get back to posting on fitday.

I drank almost a whole pot of decaf yesterday.  One cup actually had a scoop of protein powder in it.
1/2 Turkey meatloaf sandwich for lunch
Lots of grapes.
Apple, grape, walnut salad with strawberry yogurt
Chicken noodle casserole for dinner
Then all hell broke loose.
     raspberry sorbet
     chips and dip
     potato chip cookies
     cider
No wonder I felt like crap when I went to bed.  I'm having trouble with my night/evening snacking... can ya tell?
Hopefully today will be a better day.

Jan,
I've been just like you, doin' well in the am & then it all goes down the tubes from the late afternoon till I go to sleep (and sometimes even when I wake up at night).    All that finds me at +30 from 1 year ago.

Two weeks ago, I did some deep thinking, joined OA (I think I need some face-to-face support in addition to what I get here).  That slowed down my bad choices considerably, but they're not completely gone.
Maybe there is really something in a name ---maybe not, I think Jan C. is doing well on maintenance.

I know I need to plan, plan, plan, then work my plan.
Today,
Protein shake
Chef Salad
Banana
Chilli with Cheese
*** If that doesn't do it, I'll finish with another protein shake.
I know this seems like plenty of food, but believe me, this will be a challenge for me!

My four year check up happens today and being the Nervous Nellie that I am, the nerves are shot.

Food? not a clue until after the appointment.

wellllll yesterday my pouch reminded me that it was there and it was boss

i had oatmeal for breakfast and a weigh****chers meal for lunch.  so far so good.

well i just had to try the new M and M pretzel thingies so i ate the package, which was
150 calories and actually not all that high on sugar.

after that it went down hill.  i snacked on some mini carrots,  followed maybe an hour or so later
by a mozz. stick and a handful of peanuts.

oh my gosh, my pouch did NOT like that, mini carrots apparently stuck my pouch up and
the handful of nuts and the cheese stick must have sat there like glue.  i was sick all nite, could
not even go to bed till almost 2 am.  this morning i feel like S--T.  not even sure i can make
it to work, everything hurts bigtime.

wierd thing is i made a new soup/stew recipes monday nite, and at this rate i dont even
know if i wll be able to try it till later today.  if its good ill post the recipe, all healthy stuff
in it and was easy to make in crockpot.

hugs, to all,   Jacki   :)

Ok, still not 100% back on track, but working towards it. . .

B:  cantalope and cottage cheese
S:  WW cinnamon raisin toast with little butter
L:  Turkey chili
S:  Fruit and yogurt
D:  ?  support group meeting at Barix, so depending on traffic conditions what I have a chance to eat, thinking Panera soup of some sort
S:  Not sure

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen
