ok-mom got to the airport fine and i scoped out the local shops- found an absolutely awesome salvation army store- saw a coat i liked but didn't love--i loved the shawl collared one at laureen's-wish i had accepted it!!! did manage to buy a very pretty red bathrobe - for under $3--it was seniors day -lucky me!!!!!!!!! found a hobby lobby AND a michael's--but didn't go in either--no money this trip! nothing i needed soooo---kinda far to go to shop but doable once in a while!
reread the pprs about divorce and ended up not going yesterday-not time yet have to wait a few days...ok... did some other shopping and came home to nap with the poopies!
today i work just a few hours so they'll be fine-tomorrow is my long day-i'm gone 11 hours--not too sure how they'll be-mom has been sharing doggie duty and she's gone now for two weeks! hmmm....
i bought chix thighs and legs yesterday-good price-need to seperate the huge packs and freeze...my bean soup turned out great! i am enjoying cooking again!
very very windy yesterday and last nite-thunder too! rain wasn't too bad but ---this morning's sunrise was full of huge clouds...looking like winter coming soon!!!!!!!
well-need to hit the shower and get gorgeous!

Well looks like I am back posting again...LOL I missed being here and after posting about my 4 year surgiversary those that answered my post made me feel missed so here I am!
Weather here is sunny but crisp so far today. Calling for some rain and maybe some snowflakes???? EWWWW not ready for that yet!!! Trees sure are pretty though!
Lost our apartment manager last week. They found her dead in her apartment. She was only 52. So sad. So now now sure if we will get the lower apartment we wanted. They are working on the one right below us so will have to ask when I pay the rent next week. Not sure if they have a new manager yet or not. Saw an older woman there showing an apartment yesterday but she could be from another complex?
My older brother is having heart surgery monday morning to have one of the valves replaced. If you could keep him in your thoughts and prayers at this time it would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't been to Washington, D.C. since I was 13. We saw Arlington Nat. Cemetery and Mount Vernon but I don't remember anything else. Would love to go back.

I've filled up my calendar with lots of tests and doctors appts. til the middle of November. Gastroenterologist is doing a colonoscopy. Gyno is doing my yearly check-up exams, mammogram, bone density, etc. She is also having me go for a CAT scan of my abdominal, pelvic and chest areas in light of my lower intestine problems, lower bachaches and stomach aches. She wants to make sure my cancer isn't recurring. WL surgeon will give me a fill under fleuroscopy just to check that my lap band is OK. I will remain positive and not worry about it too much because it can be a myriad of other things that are causing this. Or so I keep telling myself.
This weekend should be a fun weekend. A day of scrapbooking on Saturday and on Sunday my Tigers and I are going to a local pumpkin farm. They have a corn maze and hay rides. That day is UNICEF day too so there will be lots of extras like facepainting.
It's dark and cloudy with rain expected. We are at about 50*.
