Four years ago, Geeeee's. Look at you go girl.  I wondered why a Hospital specializing in WLS didn't have gowns large enough for our beautious backside's. Annette, did you stay in the ( one front, one back ) gown for you hospital stay.I did, only took one Mumu  to wear home. I kind of got sick ,so I was kept in bed. Man was I happy to take a bath on the 4th day. As the honey man walked me to the shower room , a guard was sitting at the swinging door's coming into the ward. He said hello. When we came out of the room, he commented how much better I looked . Clean hair, clean Mumu, so nice.

Good morning Margo et al

We don't do Halloween. Not that I have anything against it, but Gary always has to work that evening (gotta keep those sex offenders/parolees in line), so I just don't do it anymore. Guess I just don't feel comfortable opening the door when I'm the only one at home. Baxter's no help....he'd just want to play and get belly rubs!

Getting ready to clean house and run some errands before the tortuous Charger game comes on. It's like a car wreck, you just can't advert your eyes.

Hugs and prayers to all, especially Jan and Bev

Aloha and good Halloween morning to you all!

I'm sitting here in the dark at 5:00 a.m. reading all your posts and that little menehune Janet said "You'd better be posting." Ha!

So I'm here and sorry I've been so MIA lately. I do come in and read and keep up with YOUR lives, but don't share my own much. Then I remember back when I was waiting for surgery and right after how much this group helped me get through it all, and how I came to care about so many of you so much.

Life has been busy lately.......working a lot more than I expected screening babies. And, my computer has been off and on. It's not very old, but I think it is already obsolete!! Sigh.

Halloween on Maui is HUGE.......well, it used to be. They would shut down Front St. in Lahaina and all sorts of crazy and weird people would parade down the street making booze stops at the bars along the way. It got so out of hand that they are now leaving the street open and it's another kind of mess. I will be just staying home. I get candy every year, and I have yet to have a trick or treater come to my door. Sad when you live in a condo, you don't have the fun of seeing the little ones.

Better get into the shower. I'm glad you all are here, and I miss you all. Have a happy day.

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

Karen, I turned on the computer, & guess what I saw. Your much missed, wondering how you have been doing, face.

Girl, We love to hear your stories, can't remember what you call story telling in Hawaii, but I know is sounded so nice.

I could sit a read about the Momma Whales & the babies til the cows come home. I've never been to your beautiful part of the world , but when you tell us about your home Island, I feel as though I'm there.

Please come on back more often. Hugs dear one, Peg
