Good seeing you post Bev!! Sorry that you are feeling sick from the chemo...did you tell them that you feel sick? Maybe they can give you something for the sickness or change to differnt med if you are already taking something for it. Happy that you got to spend time with your grandkids!!
As for my son and his wife...he says she is all he has...yeah ok whatever. I am staying out of it. He doesn't want any help from me or any of the other family members. Just hope he doesn't get killed from one of her drug pals is what I am worried about.

Hello everyone. I'm here at McDonalds for my weekly internet fix. Glad Christmas is over. Hope everyone had a good one. My big news is that I got approved for my soc. sec. disability! What a relief that will be. Still don't know when I will start getting payments but maybe when I get the official letter I'll find out. That is a big load off of my and my husbands mind. It will help a lot. I have still been loosing a little. Down to 120 lbs. Not much appetite. Seems I've gotten into the habit of pretty much just eating protein. I know that isn't healthy, especially kidney wise. I'm in a rut with my eating. Nothing really appeals to me so I eat protein bars and protein coffee. Guess I need to talk to my nut. to get back on the right track. I get busy around the house and forget to eat. Last night I realized I hadn't eaten anything except some protein powder so I ate several things that evening and got sick, lol. Spent a lot of time over the toilet. Now I need to come up with some ideas to make some extra money at home. Anyone have any suggestions? Ya'll have a good week and hopefully I will have internet before long. I'm going through withdrawls, lol. Love you all and think of you all the time. Miss you all.
Congrats on getting disability! When you get your first payment, you will get a big check retro to when you first applied ... just so you know.
Rather than just eating protein powder or bars, try eating some solid protein, like turkey or cheese or peanut butter or yogurt. Just get something in you that's real protein. Get your body used to real food again, a little at a time. Maybe some peanut butter on whole grain bread, toasted. Or cheese and whole grain crackers ... always whole grain.

Thanks for the tips Eileen. I am trying to eat stuff. Maybe now that things are looking up I'll be less stressed. I thought the first 6 months you don't get anything on disability. A back payment would be great. It sure would help. I'm back at McDonalds again. I'm hoping to get a new internet connection later this month so I can be online every day again. It's like going through withdrawls, lol.
