What good news for you!  When do you finish your doctorate?

I am finished, but I still have a fellowship and don't want to lose it, so I am waiting until the fellow runs out to defend.  I've finished my course work, my comps, and have written my dissertation.  Just hanging out untill my fellow ends.  In all sense, I am a doctor and am titled doctor, but the final defense is for next year.

I loved the new "True Grit" too... it was my second favorite movie this year.

Just a quick fly by as I am headed back to work. Have been on vacation for last 10 days!

I'm headed to the rehab/care center to see my dad who is recovering from a double bypass. Then off to my rehab/care center to do some social working.

Morning Margo and OFF family!!

BRRRRR it is cold here!!!! 22* and feels even colder about 13* and I am freezing!!! Just can't seem to get warmed up at all!!!! Keep telling myself Spring IS on the way!!! LOL

Well Rick's mom called him last night and told him the happy news...the little princess is moving (she thinks) to florida next month with her mommy dearest!!! Seems her probation officer said its ok for her to go...WTH? Just last week she was told in a year she could MAYBE go and now she can? Also she just signed a years lease on her new apartment....how is she getting out of that one?? Interesting. Still waiting for her to come get her Birthday and Christmas gifts. Looks like they will sit here and rot away. She just doesn't care. If she does move away we will miss the little guy so much!!!

Got home from work yesterday and then went grocery shopping got home and my watch broke at the post/ band. I found the post but it was broken and can't be put back in. We took it back to the store to see if it could be fixed. They didn't have a post to fit so Rick bought me a new watch! I was so upset over my pretty watch breaking and he felt bad that the watch he gave me just a year ago didn't hold up he had to get me a new one. Gotta love the guy!!! And I sure do!!! ;-)

Been fighting a headache since New Years. Not sure why I have it. I just can't get rid of it!! I have been drinking enough water and eating enough protein so that isn't it. Any suggestions?

Tomorrow I have to take the tree down for sure!!! I usually have it down on New Years day but having this headache I didn't do it. Need to get this place in order...LOL

Well nothing else going on here so I will get going. Thinking of you all and wishing you all the best...prayers for those that need them also.

Morning all.....cloudy and foggy here. Weather news here is not so reliable. Often gets wrong outcome.
Mass was wonderful. Love how they have all the little ones come up to the altar for a special blessing. The little ones just beam.
Took down Christmas stuff yesterday and the RV looks naked.
Sober 61, hooray. Spoke with Gkids and they are good, missing us like we miss them.
The traveling bra has errands today. I still get nervous about going out, but not as bad. You all here help me so much.

So "we were sleeping"? Do you have a man in your bed?  Just checking- :) I'm back to work too. It's a crazy day- I'm used to going to bed late and so today I am TIRED... I did NOT get gorgeous. I don't care!
Yesterday I grabbed my daughter and we went to the movie "The King's Speech"....it's my new favorite! Loved it- I'm a speech therapist you know, and I can really relate to the poor stuttering King.
I have to run. Make this a great day!

Hi Margo and my OFF family:

I slept really late today ... it was nearly 1 p.m. when I got up. Never sleep that late ... but then I had trouble sleeping. Kept getting up sweating. Ice pack helped a little, but then I started itching too, and the pain started up. I was up til almost 7 a.m. with this cycle. At 9 a.m., I got up and decided I hadn't slept enough, so Juliette snuggled next to me and gave me kitty kisses and we went back to sleep. Next thing I knew, it was nearly 1 p.m. Oh well .. I'm off today anyway.

Worked six days last week ... I have a day off, then work three, then have Friday off. I don't like split days off.  But I don't have any choice, do I?

I have to do some errands yet today and then maybe I'll go out for lunch/dinner ... I'm still having my protein coffee. It's going to be a low-key day today. Not even Monday Night Football.

Julia, I want to see "The King's Speech," but it's not showing around here ... the movies around here are limited, kind of like they were in Aberdeen, S.D. Basically, big blockbusters, comedies and very few Oscar worthy movies. Too high-brow for this crowd. Although they do have "Black Swan" but it's not at the cheaper theater.
