ok I have completed day 2 with protein shakes
Tomorrow I am making the tuna patties, I need to know if i can eat the patties for breakfast lunch and dinner.  or anysuggestions  Doris QC.  remember I am pre Lap

How are you preparing these tuna patties?  Mine have bread crumbs and eggs in them and then fried.

I suggest you ask some of the posters on the 5DPT thread what they're eating for some suggestions. Just reply to their post on that thread. Sorry I can't be of more help!

You can buy protein powders at Wal Mart and most larger grocery stores. I use Jay Robb brand and get it in Vanilla flavor from Kroger. It's usually found in the "health food" section

I found recipe for Tuna Patties in the Pouch section
1 Can of water packed Tuna well drained
1 Tbsp. Mayo
1 large egg
2 tbsp Parmesean grated cheese
2 tbsp. ground flax seed
dash of garlic powder
"    "        onion   "
"    "         salt


Drain the tuna, blend all the ingredents in med. bowl
Form into 4 patties
spray pan with pam,fry intil done (brown around the edges)
serves 4
284 cal.
32 g. protein
15 g. fat
2 g. carbs.

I made them this morning.  I had one and I really liked them.  or else I was starving.  I will have 1 for lunch and 1 for dinner.  I was thinking  this afternoon I would have a chicken broth.  I had my 2 coffee with milk.  I will have tea and milk this afternoon.  Am I doing this right.  All new to me.    Doris QC.

I absolutely love tuna; always have. Probably have mercury poisoning by now! I'll be making this one for sure. Curious about how well the heat up the second day???

sounds good my mom used to make similar patties with salmon
do u have to use flax seed though?

 It says you can use salmon too.  you grind the flaxseed you can't even taste it
