I started a blue afghan for my oldest grandson on Sunday. I'm about one third done! I got an email with some JoAnn's coupons so I will be stopping by there to pick out the yarn for my second grandson. He likes green so I hope I can find the yarn by the pound in green and grey. I'll also look for yarn for first granddaughter, she likes yellow. Four my smallest granddaughter I think I'll do a cranberry color.
My Mom gave me a mystery book series that has to do with a lady who finds things in her grandmother's attic and tries to figure out the mystery behind them. I'm trying to read that too. Finished the first book, started the second.
Husband and I have to get to going on getting all our financial shifting done. We want to remortgage the house to give us a lower monthly payment. Hubby has been dragging his heels because of getting all the paperwork together. Tax returns, W-2s, all your other lending information, etc. He has been less than organized when filing these. Mostly, it is in piles on his desk.
My sister and her husband, who just built a house to sell, offered to remodel our bathroom for us. We are going to take them up on it. Isn't that sooo nice. My sister said they wanted to do something for me because of my cancer. She had heard that I did not want to be sick in my present bathroom that is the pink and black tile from the 50s. The shower tiles are leaking into the wall and it's just a mess. We have been pasting it back together with bathroom caulk. We will pay for all the fixtures/tile and they will do all the installing. I love them. We are taking out the tub and putting in a seated shower. Just trying to think what's best for us down the road.

Good afternoon Margo and everyone....
I had a busy work morning. My work laptop computer wasn't printing. I spent well over an hour with the computer geek at the main office trying to get it working again....FINALLY we got it going!! It is hard to do over the phone...the office is 1.5 miles away...too far to go for that issue.
Margo....enjoy your new kittie....she is lucky to have you!

Sorry to hear about Melissa and Greg.
Makes my woes a little less to worry about. So here is the latest. Gannett is making everyone take five days of furlough in the first quarter (before the end of March). At least we can take one day a week. Salaried empoyees (of which I am not) have to take it all in one week. It's really a pain considering we are so shorthanded. Plus, they continue to take out insurance, etc. Some people are taking it well, figuring it's a day off ... which it is but it's a day off without pay. I need the money, that's why I took the job, not to sit a day off without pay. So 2011 isn't starting off too well. Guess there's nothing I can do about it.
Next week, I'll have four days off (two regular days, two holiday days). That'll be fun ... only work three days. I really can use a break ... I'll be able to get down these Christmas decorations.
Well, didn't sleep well again last night ... kept waking up sweating again and had to put the fan on.

OMG Eileen how can they MAKE you do that?? Gezzz But look on the bright side...you don't have to take it ALL at one time!!! :-) See its not so bad now is it...I know it still is bad but still not as bad as it could be. Still sucks!!!
Think maybe the sweats are from stress? I am thinking my headaches are stress realated now. Taking my BP and its fine now. Was a little elevated but now better. Just thinking its the little princess is what is triggering it all. Just wish she could have an honest to goodness asswhooping if ya know what I mean!!! Brat!!! Hope you feel better soon.
