Eileen....glad you got a few extra jobs to do. Maybe the Michigan guy won't be back and you will have the job from now on.
As for me....just sailing along. Lots going on with my family...not all so good. Keep praying or whatever please.
My cleaning fairy is here...we are hoping to get Christmas decorations down today...tired of looking at the tree!!

No, we need everybody here ... people are deserting this place like rats on a sinking ship. One young woman left right before Christmas to go live with her boyfriend in St. Louis ... no job, just moved back to the Midwest. We have two new people, but just as they start, someone else quits. This place is a sweatshop and once people realize that, they leave.
There are a lot of unemployed journalists out there, but they are like me ... in their 40s and 50s ... and they want more money. People don't want to hire us.
I hope Terrence does show up tonight ... he was a good worker and a good guy. But I find it funny that my boss doted on him, said how wonderful he was, spent so much time showing him the ropes (none of this was done for me, of course, things were just thrown at me ... he didn't make deadline and everyone was supposed to go help him), and then if he doesn't come back, she is going to look kinda of foolish.

Just finished Day 3 of 5DPT lunch and wanted to say hi. Sitting here looking out my office window at the fog is depressing..they promised it would burn off and we'd see sunshine this afternoon. Nothing I hate more than driving in the fog.
Other than the fog, life is pretty bright right now. I'm feeling empowered to deal with these 5-7lbs I put back on...getting back to basics helps me feel in control again. 2 days/evenings of no snacking or carbs...I wasn't sure I could break the cycle...boy, does it feel good to know I CAN! ;-)
Hope everyone has a better day than yesterday...even if yesterday was great...today can be even better LOL
