SSNEVERSINKS DOCKS IN HONDURAS!!
Did everyone have a good day on the beach? Warm up a little in that glorious sun and put your tootsies in the sand?
The Cruise Director had a great time taking you to the Caymans!!
Hope you enjoyed the evenings entertainment and got some good sleep. While you were sleeping, the ship geared up a few knots and sailed into the waters of Honduras. We're in Roatan today so don't forget your breakfast first. It's going to be a fun-filled day!! As soon as we disembark we'll be meeting with Janet and Demaria who are waiting at the gate for us. They'll be taking us in their tour van to the 'canvass'. We'll be putting on harnesses and helmets. Yep, we're going zip-lining!!! Enjoy that weight loss, Girls!! YEEEEEE HAWWWW!!
We're stopping at Demaria's mothers little cafe for late lunch on the way back to the ship. Whatever it is you'll be ordering will include a pig tail. Hey, it tastes like HAM.. go figure.. Tell us what was on YOUR menu!!
Hurry now.. we're on our way!!!

Yesterday I had
B - don't know what it was called but a chicken and brown rice concotion ( I know strange sounding for breakfast but when in a forgein country one musn't judge
L - Gosh darn I think I forgot lunch and just had a snack. banana and PB on a couple of crackers
D - shrimp and veggies
I can't wait to do the zip line. I always wanted to but was afraid I'd break the line. Is it very high or do we get to start on a bunny line like the bunny hill the little kiddies use to learn to ski?
Trust me, no bunny line. Just the big girl line, 'way up in the air, over trees, water,.....and .......nuthin'! The hardest part is giving up control and lifting your feet off the starting platform. After that, you just....glide......
Wish sticking to the program was as easy as the gliding.
Sigh.....

Yesterday was a traveling day, not a good WLS eating day. Didn't take enough of my own supplies along. Still learning , ate small portions , just not the best to keep my pouch happy.
Red, I would Love to go zip-lining with you and the crew. For years I've looked up sites, haven't made it yet . Can we start at daybreak and then watch the sunset from the tree tops. I'ma thinking that might get me over the ( need for zip-line speed), you never know, just might be the start of a new quest.
Menu for today. Don't have a clue. Frig. is bare , need to wash up and go to Stater Brother's food emporium.

S-..you got it....popcorn!!

Well, it's obvious I should never have left the beach as early as I did...I had been sooooo good with my food protocol (in spite of the guy with the snacks who kept walking by) but I used the excuse of it being my b/day...indulged in a 'little' chocolate..but it wasn't sugar free :-( Dang, sometimes I wish I would just once DUMP so I could learn the lesson LOL
But I refuse to beat myself up...1 slip of indulgence doesn't erase the rest of the week, which was a good one. ;-) Today is a clean slate and each meal is a new choice ^_^ So today:
Brunch 2 soft boiled eggs, 1 pc sourdough bread/toast
S Protein shake w/water
D Olive Garden..probably pork or steak
S Quaker Protein bar
I'll have to figure calories/protein intake later.
Onward and upward! And zip lining...maybeeee...heights scare me!! LOL
