TGIF - What's NEW?

Good morning Debbie and everyone.....

Just peeking in on everyone. Really struggling here.

Both my daughters and grandchildren will be here for the weekend.  One group here tonight  the other on Saturday. They are staying until Monday morning. I have to tell my three grands from here in MN that I am moving to Iowa at the end of February. That won't be easy. I know there will be plenty of tears. I am happy to be living with Nic and Grace  in Iowa but I will be missing my wonderful grands here in MN. Makes me very sad!  I am still keeping this off Facebook because my grandchildren are on there. They won't know about my move until Saturday night. I don't want them hearing about the move on there. I need to tell them in person.

You haven't told us why you're moving to Iowa. Hope the move will be good for you. I know moving is tough, having done it many times.

Eileen...yes it is tough to move. I have sooooo many frinds and my BFF is here....also my closest sister.

Oh Connie, I am sorry that Nic & Gracie have to go through this. Sometimes I think it's harder on us to watch our kids go throught this. My DH & I have been through this with 2 of our kids. My Jamie is the one with Morgan, that is in remission with the same kind of cancer that Nic has. I am sure cir****tances are different but it still hurts. Please tell Jamie(yours) & the kids you are all in my prayers. Stay strong & do what you think is best!!!

Nan....you know for sure how this goes...especially with our grands with cancer. They need me I am there!! Yes, it still hurts and will for a long time to come!

Wow, Connie!  I had no idea.  Of course, I wouldn't say a thing to anyone.  FB can get pretty chatty.    I suppose I'll NEVER get to meet you if you leave the area!
  I, too, wonder why you are moving.  Are you retiring or quitting your job?  Is this a good move for you?  Sometimes change can be wonderful.
