Tuesday 1/18/2011 Whats NEW?
Margaret,
Please don't apologize. You can talk about this as much or as little as you need here.
I am so sorry for your sad news. I work as a social worker in a care facility/rehab in the long term care section and I see families dealing with this horrible disease everyday.
It is a cruel illness and NOT FAIR at all!
Prayers going up for your brother, your family and you.
Take care,
Cheryl

My dad had an alzheimer type dementia. He was diagnosed when he was 76 and lived another 8 years. I can be tough for the family but there are moments to be cherished. My dad was very quiet and somewhat shy. His funny side came out during this time. I guess he lost some of his inibitions. There were lots of laughter among the tears.
Sweet Margaret,
How sad for you and your family. . . I wish you all peace and strength to deal with the devastation that is Alzheimer's and hoping that he is still with you all enough to have some enjoyment now and if you can't share you sorrow here, then where?
Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Good Morning Debbie and all,
Debbie, I don't envy your cold but I do envy where you live.
Laureen, so sorry your poor girl is suffering with itchies, that is so hard on them and you.
I am going to be getting ready for work soon and have a very busy day ahead. Yesterday, I kept having to put out little fires which kept me from getting lots of paperwork done. So hopefully today I can get that out of the way and do more "people" stuff.
Bev, I am thinking of you every day and sending prayers up and positive energy out.
Take care all,
Cheryl

Zumba is very cardio. I had to adjust a lot of the movements in consideration of my knees. I enjoyed the class but they only teach it at one time at my gym and it is too early for me. I prefer the drums alive class but alas it is the same time alternating days. Just can't get my weary bones to the gym that early. So I stick to the strength training machines and the bikel.
I am freezing just reading your post. It not too bad here it just keeps switching from 20 to 50. I forgot how gray the winters are here. Its awful dreary today.
