Tuesday 1/18/2011 Whats NEW?
hello! it's 6 pm- but it's still tuesday!
we got over a foot of snow between yesterday 8 am and today at 8 am! it's about 18* ---roxie absolutely got lost in the snow this morning- good thing she has to be tied out!
well- my car is still not running-mechanic said tonite he'll work on it tomorrow- he called to see what i want for it if i could sell-a guy offered 500-whoa-cannot go that low!!!!anyhow- mom didn't wanna drive me to school tonite so i ended up calling off-then found out my teacher fell and broke her arm so she cancelled so i don't think it actually counts against me- phew- sorry for her tho-- that's psyche class which i enjoyed last week and was ready for- well- i'll do the reading for next week and start the two writing things due in a few weeks...
keyboarding is tomorrow- and it is kicking my butt--- i sat here last nite realizing that i can type faster my way - and it's frustrating- i cannot remember which finger goes where and the home keys -i am a right handed person but my left hand is stronger on the home keys....wth????
even more frustrating is that i really would not have made this school commitment if i had known i was going to need to be taxi'd.
today; i have been in contact with the gal who took Baby (the Blue and Gold)--i asked if it would be possible for her family to consider fostering Ruby and Chico until we know what is going on with michael--- i absolutely cannot do them justice here and they are suffering for it! and at this point; i don't know if michael will ever be able to take care of them again..so she is talking with her folks and they'll probly come get them-not sure when- not soon enough ....
did some dishes today and sat for hours reading-actually it was nice- a good book and a dog on one side and a cat on the other! snuggled!
need to change the bedding and get self into the shower- and get back to my keyboarding homework----ugggghhhhhhh

i'm not going to even try to respond to everyone else either-just know that i am so glad to have all y'all here to talk to---to be part of my life.
lots of seed catalogs came today- maybe i'll peruse them...homework??? ugghhhhhhhhhh

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
